Lake Wazee

Hey there Paper House fans!  Lisa back with you again today to share a summer layout using some of the new Paper House goodies!

Lake Wazee

Lake Wazee Supplies:

I started this layout with white cardstock and added some watercolors to it using the packaging technique and some spatters. Then I fussy cut the island, waves and water from the Beaches of the World Paper Pad placed at the bottom of my page and added some stitching.

I took the gorgeous “At The Beach” Shaker Box  and backed that with a sand patterned paper from the paper pad. I used the teal & silver frame and the “Sun & Sand” overlay from the Beach Mixed Card Pack and layered that together, finally adding my photo. I added the layered relax sticker and a few stickers from the Beach Snapshot Sticker Pack

Paper House Productions Coloring Cards

Remember when you were young and you could sit for hours and just color?  With the New Coloring Cards from Paper House Productions you can relax, unplug, unwind, sit and color and have a fun card to give away.

Cat Coloring Card

Or leave the card uncolored for a card and gift in one. I like using Prismacolor colored pencils when I color instead of regular school colored pencils because the lead is softer and it colors smoother.

Warren and his Cars

My grandson Warren loves his cars.  And…it’s not uncommon to see him walking around with 2 or 3 in his hands.  His favorite being Lighting McQueen from the movie Cars.

For my layout, I wanted to use these cute little puffy stickers. I started with an 8 1/2″ X 11″ piece of black cardstock and drew my road lines using a ruler and a pale grey colored pencil.

Hi Paper House fans! Melissa joining you today with a project highlighting our puffy stickers! These bird and flower puffy stickers would be beautiful additions to many types of projects. The flowers are so realistic and fresh, and the the birds are wonderfully cute.  I’ve used a photo of my son’s girlfriend, and surrounded her with nature’s beauty.

To make this page I used 12 x 12 watercolor paper, I wanted a very neutral background so that the stickers would be the focus of the page.  I cut up another piece of the same type of paper, and to create dimension, arranged it with foam core board in between some of the layers.

I took a stencil and applied some texture paste.

I put pressed flowers under most of the birds.

I added a variety of things to add texture, including gauze, microbeads, sequins, feathers, mica flakes, glass glitter, and rhinestones.  I used a paintbrush to apply watercolors, and gesso as well.

Thank you so much for looking today and have a wonderful week!

Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Lisa here today to share a layout I created using some of the Paper House fantastic products!  I used a photo that I took from a 4th of July celebration we had gone to along the river and there were lots of boats in the water. That added to the perfect sunset photo!

Beauty Layout Supplies:

I used my Cameo to cut a sun burst and stitched with my sewing machine and yellow thread. I matted my photo with tissue paper and one of the Gatsby Trim Cards. I used the pennant piece and sun shaped diecut from the Gatsby Accent Pack and also cut a few pennants from the Gatsby Trimmings 12″ ColorWays paper. I added some tangled thread and some Sculpted and Puffy Stickers.

100% Country

Hello Paper House fans! It’s Lee-Anne here today and I’m sharing another horse layout of my niece Laine and her horse Cameo.

Supply List

I am loving the paper and the stickers of all things country and horses.  I combined both the puffy and the 3D card stock stickers around my photo.  I love the texture and dimension it gives the layout.

Sometimes I like to add papers that were meant for a certain theme, such as the chevron and star paper that were in the All Star Football collection, but thought they would be awesome for this western themed page.  I added some strips that I tore and inked to the right edge of the layout and then took my sewing machine and stitched it down and then added a piece of twine and some sequins to direct the eye to the photo.

I hope you are inspired to create with all the awesome 3D puffy stickers and 3D card stock stickers and also use papers in a different theme than what they were intended for.  Have a great day!

Scrapbooking your trip to the Beach

Paper House has the best products for telling the story about your trips to the beach! I have done multiple layouts over the years using their products and have loved both making them and the end result.  Today I have a new one to share with you highlighting the new Snapshots pieces and Puffy Stickers but I am also going to share with you some older ones too! Let’s kick it off with my newest one!

Supplies Used:

Beach CU

The new shakers are so much fun!  They are great for layouts, cards, or even stand alone 4 X 4 albums! The Mixed Card Packs include transparencies which is what I used for the “Sun & Sand” on the layout.

Beach CU2

I also used the Mixed Card Packs to frame my little guy in this picture.  I love the mint green color added into the mix!  I used a variety of Puffy stickers on this including the “Smile” quote you see here and the silver puffy accents throughout the layout.

Now here’s a few more beach layouts to help get those creative juices flowing for scrapping those summer moments!

PHP Beach Layout

This was the first beach layout I ever did with Paper House – features lots of their earlier papers and 3D stickers which you can still find at their store!

Paper House End of Summer Hop

Fun with my Silhouette Cameo and Paper House products!

Cork'd Project Christine Meyer

PHP Beach Collection Blog Hop

This one features the same At the Beach Paper Crafting Kit that I used today!

Foxy Fall Chalkboard

Today I am featuring a project using some new puffy stickers. I could not resist to use these cute little foxes. When I see them I think of fall so I come to you today with an altered foxy fall chalkboard!

These foxes are so cute and when I saw them I just knew I wanted to add them on this chalkboard to make a decor piece. This will be added to my fall decorations this year. There are many options to display these cuties. Whether they sitting or jumping or even framed they are my favorite!

This would be a fun home decor piece to add in your kitchen or just next to your door to jot down stuff you want to remember!

“The Beach is Calling” Layout

Going to the Ocean is one of my favorite things to do…and it had been three long years since we last visited.  It was long over due.  The beach was calling.  Long daily walks on the beach, soaking up the sun, ocean breezes, good food, reading and relaxing.

It was hard to come back.  I needed another week.  (I need another week!)  Nonetheless I am here to share a layout today about that recent trip!

I layered three different patterned papers to mimic the color of the water on the horizon line and the feel of the sandy beach.

I love the New Beach Mixed Cards Pack.  The pack comes with a variety of pictures, overlays, die-cuts and frames.  For added dimension, I used thin 3-D foam mounting squares on the back of the frame before attaching it to the picture.

I found the Myrtle Beach Sticker (for decorating your cell phone) at a local beach shop.
