Hello crafty friends, My name is TinaGale and I am so excited to be joining the Paper House Productions Design Team this year! I love to create gifts for ones I love and especially love it when they can come together quickly and easily but look like they took forever! Today I am sharing a little project using the new Adventure Flip Album.
Here’s my video that will walk you thru the Flip Album!
The album comes complete with silver photo corners and clear stickers to finish your album but I couldn’t resist adding in some of the new 3D stickers for even more wow.
Some of the pages include silver embossed phrases. They’re stunning and really give a finished look to the album.
Of course if the phrases aren’t relevant or you want to add more photos you can add them right over the top like I did for this pocket page. For the insert I created a little tab to grab a hold of it and pull out. I added one of the clear stickers on to it to finish it off.
I loved all the clear word stickers and they were perfect to add right on top of the photos.
For the last couple of pages I printed some smaller photos to cluster around. This phrase from the Discover USA acetate sheet was perfect! I just cut it apart and adhered around my photos. I die cut a heart doily to cover up some of the background page since it was a world map. It was perfect to still give the feel of the map without it seeming awkward since we weren’t traveling around the world.
This album is perfect for gift giving just by itself or complete with photos and ready for someone to enjoy. I hope you enjoyed my project for you this month and will check out the varity of flip albums in the Paper House store.
Hi everyone, Erin Reed here today. I got these fun templates from a friend who was getting rid of them (company does not even exist anymore) and I thought they would beperfect for the base of a book!!! So I used the Paper House One Big Happy Family collection to create the pages attached to the plastic templates and some pictures of my family from this past summer to make a Family 8×8 Scrapbook Album with 4 pages in it.
Here is a video tutorial on how I made this album.
Each page is about one of my kids and also there is a family page. I off set the color blocked pages with a neutral page where I used the Paper House Acetate birds with a single graphic in the middle. This helps break up all the “busy” in the book.
I turned all the photos into black ans white because they were really fighting with the colors of the collection. I really wanted to use this collection for these pictures, because it worked so well. So a quick and easy tip is to make all the pictures black and white or sepia to solve that problem!!
I added little bits of stickers, gems, or cut up tags to fill in the sections that the template left for me to play with. This made it really easy to assemble my design for the pages, just find something that fits, says the right things, and stick it down!! This made the book go really fast!
I left the front and back covers with the word family, because that is what the book is all about!
Making these little mini albums is so easy when you have an amazing collection to work with!
Hi everyone. It’s Bev here today and I am super excited to share with you some fabulous layout pages using the best ever sports collections from Paper House. I am sharing soccer pages today but be sure to check out the store for all the other sports collections that are available…. not only papers but the perfect accents too.
When I start a page I pull possible photo plus a few more, paper collection, accents and some coordinating cardstock, I lay things out on the background but don’t glue anything down.
Once I laid things out I decided that I’d use the cardstock sticker alpha for a banner title. I draw an arch on the red cardstock for rough placement and mark the center. I also found the center of the letters I planned to use. I then place the letters just above the line so it won’t show when I hand cut it.
I hand cut the banner and and cut the fun edges.
At this point I placed the title and also pulled some accents I thought I wanted to use into position. I still haven’t glued anything down yet. I now take a photo so when I remove everything to go back and start gluing down from the background moving forward I can review the photo for placement. At this point I also decided that a sports page would look awesome with some rustic texturing in the background.
So after removing everything but the last layer of soccer ball paper I used a stencil and modeling paste to scruff it up. Some of it overlaps the print. In spots you don’t want to cover the print just be sure to cover it with a plain paper so the modeling paste doesn’t touch it.
Here is the finished look with all the stenciling done.
Now I started gluing everything back down referring to the photo when needed and added the accents.
Here are a few close ups for your viewing. Gives you a better look at the details in the different sections of the layout. What a great cluster in this view with a great mix of stickers and 3D puffy accents.
In this lower corner you can view the great border strip of words, some of the soccer ball strip cut apart and another accent. Clustering is the in thing right now and with great papers, border and accents you can make your own clustered sections.
This section showcases the large background paper banner behind the matted photos.
This area using stickers, 3D stickers and accents.
Here is my video on creating this layout:
Thanks for joining me today…………. hope to see you again soon.
Today we have a special treat for you! We have an old friend, Lisa Moen, visiting us today with some absolutely beautiful layouts using our new “Let Freedom Ring” collection.
Lisa made use of the Philadelphia part of this colleciton on this layout. She included fussy cutting from the cut apart pages as well as several of the cardstock stickers. Isn’t that wood grain background just perfect for her picture?!?
Her second layout makes use of those cut apart pages again as well as the cardstock stickers. She made great use of of borders by tucking things underneath them at the bottom. The machine stitching details throughout this layout really help add a one of a kind touch!
Thanks so much to Lisa for sharing these beautiful projects with us today!
Hi! Renee here again , with my second post for Paper House Productions! This time I’m working with the new Discover USA collection! This line literally has pages for all area of the USA- cut apart pages for the South, the Coasts, and even the Midwest! But for my page, I wanted to focus on the Road Trip cut apart page.
For this page, I used more of the embellishments I had already hoarded that worked well with the Discover USA/Road trip collection.
I cut the United States shape out of one of the mixed cards backing it with paper, adding sequins to it and topping it with one of the acetate mixed cards. I added the cute little car on top as well. I thought it turned out pretty cute. But I’m bias.
I layered behind the pictures as I always do with pieces of the cut apart paper. I also put one of the cards in the middle. I created a bigger cluster at the top of the right photo and the bottom of the left photo but added little pieces on the opposite. I also did clusters at the top and the bottom of the page overall. Journaling was part of the bottom cluster so I could somewhat remember what this page was about. For the background of the paper, I cut the sheet in half flipped the top over -piecing them together on another sheet plain paper.
I loved how this page turned out, also excited that I finally got to use some of the Paper House Products I had already with this perfect collection. I can’t wait also to use other pieces of this collection for other pages. I had 3 different page ideas laying in front of me and couldn’t decide where to go. So look forward to seeing more of these coming your way!
As always, if you want to learn more about this page or the other work I do, check out my personal blog!
Hello! Samantha here with you today to showcase the new Discover USA collection. This might be the most versatile collection I have ever worked with. I knew I was going to like this collection (the colors and patterns are right up my alley), but I didn’t realize how much I would fall in love with it. I had so many ideas, I had a hard time deciding what project to start with, my nephew has a birthday coming up so I decided to start with a birthday card.
I really love the puffy stickers from Paper House. They add dimension, a bit of texture, and a whole lot of fun while managing not to look childish or cheap. These are not the puffy stickers of your childhood. They are durable and high quality.
This fun tractor sticker is from the Discover USA cardstock sticker sheet. It’s a flat sticker that I used a bit of foam adhesive to pop up. The mix of puffy and cardstock stickers gives this card a lot of texture, which makes it the perfect card for a 5 year old!
Discover USA is fast becoming a staple in my craft room, and I know you’re going to fall in love with it too. Like I said, I had a hard time deciding where to start, so as soon as I finished this card, I started a layout. Here’s a sneak peek of it.
Hello friends! Katty here. I am back today working with the beautiful Paradise Found Cruise Paper Crafting Kit. I love that there are several versions of the Paradise found Collection. I chose to work with the Cruise Version. I love the fun, tropical feel of this collection. Just looking through the papers and embellishments makes me wish I were sitting on a beach, with a fruity drink in my hand, soaking up the sun.Nevertheless, I will settle for using this beautiful kit to document previous tropical memories.
Today I am scrapbooking a photo on my two boys and myself relaxing on a hammock on the Disney Cruise Private Island, Castaway Cay. This was our very first cruise and we had a fantastic time.
I immediately knew I wanted to incorporate the beautiful blues and pinks from this collection. I also knew I wanted to use the beautiful gold foil acetate sheet that coordinates with this collection. I decided to cut out some of the sea stars in several different sizes from the acetate sheet. I also traced the stars on white cardstock and used my Shimmerz Paints to color them in coordinating colors. I used these as flowers. I scattered those around the page as well.
For my background, I chose to use one of the sheets of patterned paper which reminded me of sand and has a faint white script on it.
I created several layers behind my photo using the cut apart sheets. I even used one of the larger stickers in my layers. I love this mix of colors. One of the cards had a large oval in the center. I cut out the oval center and used that card over my photo.
I decided to place my photo on the top left and I created a cluster on the bottom right. I used one of the cut apart cards which has a sentiment that I love.
I added some of the adorable puffy stickers from the collection. I also used the 3D stickers from the Island Life and The Beach sticker sets. I love the texture and dimention that these stickers add to the layout.
There is a video tutorial on my YouTube channel of you’d like to watch.
I love how this turned out. Thanks so much for stopping by today! XOXO -Katty
Who can’t wait for the snow to go and for the beach to open? Me (Carolyn)! No winter vacation for me, so I’ll just wait patiently for summer. In the mean time, I made this sand castle building layout with the Paradise Found collection. There is a basic one, a beach one and a cruise one. I mostly used the cruise one even though my picture has nothing to do with a cruise – that’s how versatile it is!
I began with the sand paper and ripped strips out of the water paper to layer on top. I love how these waves turned out! The back of the water paper had some darker blue so I ripped those strips for the sky. I cut a section out of the shell acetate paper and tucked it under the edge of my waves. I tried to hide the edge of the acetate with the title stickers that come in the kit. The anchor is from the Discover USA 3D sticker set.
Next, I framed my photo with some paper strips and a cut apart card. The flowers are fussy cut and embellished with 3D stickers and puffy stickers. These stickers are so cool – you really have to see them in person to get the full effect of their dimensions and sparkle. Here’s a look at the dimension of the Beach title sticker.
Thanks for checking out my layout. I can’t wait to see beachy layouts made with this collection popping up on social media.
Hi everyone! It’s Julie with you here today, sharing a layout! I am IN LOVE with the new collections, and Southwest Adventure certainly falls into the IN LOVE category! It is PERFECT for my family, as we live in Arizona, and take LOTS of trips in our state!
Hello crafty friends! Melinda Beltran here with you today. Sharing my second post for Paper House Productions. I got the opportunity to work with the fantastic Southwest Adventure Awaits Paper Crafting Kit. I decided to create scrapbook layout. It showcases my beautiful niece. Here is what I came up with.
Southwest Adventure Awaits Scrapbook Layout SUPPLIES LIST
Here’s a closer look at the pretty Mosaic Butterfly stickers. I adhered them to some Kraft cardstock. I fussy cut them out of the Kraft cardstock and then used some foam tape to give them some lift. I sprinkled a few sequins around them for a little extra touch.
Here are the feathers I created and cut out. I dipped the tips in some gold glitter. I added one of the colored feathers from the cardstock sticker set included in the kit.
Here’s a closer look at one of the cardstock sticker sayings. I love all the different stickers and sentiments on the sheet.
I used one of the journal cards that is on one side of printed paper. I cut the sentiment out and used some foam tape to give it a little lift.
Here’s a closer look at one of the journaling cardstock stickers. I left it blank so my niece could write her thoughts.
One last look at the completed layout. This layout features a picture of my beautiful niece Taylor. She is such a free spirit and marches to the beat of her own drum. This kit was the perfect choice to compliment her picture. Be sure to head over to the Paper House Productions shop and pick up this new kit and many of the other new collections now available.
As always, thank you so much for sharing your crafty time with me. Until the next time have a wonderfully crafty day.
