Pinterest Inspired Two Page Layout

Hello! Samantha here with you. There are so many great project ideas on the Paper House Pinterest page, that it makes it the perfect place to go when you need a little creative inspiration. Today I’ve got a Pinterest inspired 2 page layout to share with you.

Supplies: The Great Outdoors Live for the Hunt, The Great Outdoors Call of the Wild, The Great Outdoors Camping Tags, The Great Outdoors Beneath the Stars, The Great Outdoors Cardstock Stickers, Hunting Adventures 3D Stickers, Outdoors Epoxy Stickers, Outdoors Planner Stickers, Outdoors Stick On Pockets, Outdoors Puffy Clips, Outdoors Puffy Stickers

I actually found inspiration for my layout from 2 different layout pins. This one by Carolyn Johnson:

and this one by Julie Tucker-Wolek:

I took the split page set up and 2 photo placement from Carolyn’s layout.

I also copied her use of stick-on pockets as a design element.

I took inspiration from Julie’s use of a big circle on her layout and her use of 3 vertical photos.

I also drew inspiration from her cluster of embellishments underneath the center photo.

I love drawing inspiration from other people! There are so many wonderful, talented paper crafters out there. So next time you get stuck or need a little crafty inspiration, check out Paper House’s Pinterest page…you might just find an idea for your next project!Save

Scrap lifting from our Pinterest boards!

Julie Tucker-Wolek Circle 2Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! This week, the Design Team  we are scraplifting a project from the Paper House Productions Pinterest board, and I chose this one from fellow team member Tinagale Husong! 🙂  I love altering things, so when I saw this from Tinagale, I was inspired to make one for my Christmas Decor using the ‘Christmas Joy’ collection!

I started by painting my embroidery hoop a deep green to match my theme. Once that was dry, I cut ‘Christmas Joy’ paper and acetate paper to fit the back of my hoop!  I also took the ‘ornament’ packaging from the Christmas Flake Stickers and used it as an embellishment on here!

And here is Tinagale’s embroidery hoop that I scrap lifted!

Christmas Joy Photo Flip Frame

Hello everyone, TinaGale here for my very last project. I’ve so enjoyed being a part of the Paper House team and creating with all the fabulous products. Today I used up some of the last of my Christmas Joy stash to create a little flip album from a frame I picked up at IKEA. It’s going to sit on my desk and I’ll add more photos as the year goes by and update the photos.

Supplies used: Scrapbook paper – Christmas Memories, Gold Dots, Birch acetate,  Puffy stickers, 3D stickers, enamel stickers,

Photo Frame process video – Christmas Joy Flip album (Paper House)

I used the acetate paper and left it loose against the wood grain paper to create my background. The gold dot paper matted my photo and then I used the red from the other side to create a double mat. Some embellishments and it was perfect.

I hope you enjoyed my little home decor piece and will try creating something like it too for yourself. I pray your family has a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Here is the card I used from the PHP Pinterest Board. I followed the layout of the card.

Have a look at the pretty stickers I used to dress up the die cuts. I love the weight of the stickers. They are not flimsy and hold their shape beautifully! The great plaid paper is from the Great Outdoors – Camping Collection. The “wood” plaque is actually another piece of paper from the same collection with a wood grain pattern. It was perfect for cutting out the plaque.

Here I added a gold sticker to dress up my twine bow.

Here is one last look at my completed card. It turned out great I think!

Pinterest Inspired Christmas Joy Scrapbook Layout

CarolynCircle2I’m so excited for Christmas but also sad that this is my last post as part of the 2017 Design Team. This has been such an amazing experience for me – thank-you Paper House Productions! Now for my final layout. Our theme this week is to be inspired by a layout from the Paper House Productions Pinterest page. I chose a layout by our fabulous team leader – Christine Meyer.

Here is my layout:

Here is Christine’s layout:

Supplies for Christmas Joy Layout: Christmas Stick On Pockets, Christmas Puffy Sticker, Merry & Bright 3D Stickers, Christmas Memories 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Better When Camping 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Joy Tags 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Joy 12″ Acetate Paper, Christmas Magic Cardstock Multi Pack, Gold Dots 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper.

I thought putting paint behind an acetate paper was a brilliant idea. It was so much fun. I splattered and smooshed it with plastic packaging on a piece of white cardstock. The plaid paper is from the Great Outdoors collection and the remainder is from the Christmas Joy collection.

I cut the stars from the stick on pockets. This was a great way to stretch my supplies. I’ve made so many layouts and cards with this collection!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to stop by the Pinterest page for lots of inspiration for your Paper House goodies! Happy Holidays!

Christmas Joy Banner

Hello everyone, TinaGale here. For my project today I wanted to do something festive and fun for my office. I love having photos of my family around so this little banner will be a perfect touch. The Christmas Joy collection is one of my favorites and this turned out better than I could even anticipate with all the gold sparkles. PH 1222

Supplies used:

Christmas Joy tags, Christmas Memories, cardstock stickers, planner stickers, puffy stickers, epoxy stickers, rice paper

You can watch the whole process in this video:

This would have been gorgeous even without all the embellishments but oh my I had fun decking it all out with all the different stickers and embellishments from this collection. I used some candy cane stripe twine from my stash to string it all together.

I can’t wait to hang it up in my office. It’s sure to brighten my days up while I’m working. I hope you enjoyed my little project and have been inspired to create something to decorate your space with.

Paper House Christmas Sticker Cards

Melinda Circle2Hello crafty friends,

Melinda here with you today and I am excited to share some super quick and easy cards I created with some of the Paper House Productions Christmas paper and stickers! Here is what I came up with.

Paper House Productions Christmas Stickers cardPaper House Productions Christmas Stickers card

Supplies Used: Christmas Joy Double Sided Paper, Christmas Joy Mega Accessory Set Christmas Magic Cardstock Multi Pack, Merry & Bright 3D StickersChristmas Washi Tape

For both cards, I started with a cream cardstock base. Standard A2 size. They are 4.25 x 11 and scored at 5.5 to make them a top fold base.

Paper House Productions Christmas Stickers card

For this card, I used the Christmas Joy patterned paper from both sides. That wonderful image of the ornament and pine cone is a perfect 4×3 image on the “other” side of the striped print side. I paired it with a couple of stickers. I ran some of the wonderful washi tape along the side and that was it!  Made this card shine with no effort!Paper House Productions Christmas Stickers card

Here is a closer look at the cardstock sticker I used for the sentiment. I love the weight of these stickers. They are a perfect option.

For this next card, I created the little tag and banner svg file and cut them out of some plain cardstock. I then used the stocking sticker from the 3D sticker set. I love the layers and it even has some glitter on the top.  It was the perfect element. I added the Ho Ho Ho sticker to the bottom as it was a perfect match. Like the previous card, I used more of the same patterned paper and again used the beautiful foiled vellum washi tape to give the card a finished border.

I added a couple of puffy stickers to add a little visual interest to the corner and it was all done! Quick, easy and love the beautiful elegance. I let the fantastic range of products from Paper House do all the hard work!

Be sure to head over to the Paper House Shop and grab your Christmas supplies today! There is still time to make some fantastic cards and tags for your holiday gift giving! Be sure to come back by and see what the other elves….er….designers are busy creating! You won’t be disappointed! Until the next time, have a wonderfully crafty day!
