Hi everyone! Laura here with you today and I’m sharing a fun printers tray project using some great products from both PaperHouse AND Xyron….what a perfect combo!
This project starts with a whole bunch of Paper House and Xyron goodness…..
They all come together to create this piece of home decor that captures our family trip to Arizona!
Paper House has great Travel 2D stickers for the states and the Succulent FauxEnamel Stickers work well with the desert vibe on this project. Think outside the box when you are using stickers….in this set, many of the plants are in cute little clay pots. Some were left that way, but some, I trimmed off the cactus to use on its own and layered it into torn pieces from the Color Washed 12×12 Paper Pad. The Sticky PixClear Cuts are also a great way to add interest to a project, and being clear, they can go right on your photos as well.
Something that brings this project all together is the beautiful washi tape. Love that the Paper House washi comes with a wide and narrow width tape in the same package! You can layer it up on plain white or black cardstock to create backgrounds, borders, and also die-cut to create a project title.
The Xyron Sticker Maker makes it easy to add adhesive to the letters, and if you need a little clean up of the extra adhesive, the Xyron Adhesive Eraser has got it covered….nothing like the perfect tools to bring a project together!
All the individual squares and layers on this project are held together beautifully by the Xyron Tape Runner. It has a strong adhesive that holds all the layers in place.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!
It’s Maria back on the blog today! I have been looking for some inspiration on Pinterest and decided to make some super easy and quick cards with some beautiful Washi tapes from the Paper House Productions! Have you all checked them out yet at the shop? Holy, moly those Washis are so beautiful! I feel like they need to be showcased more than just adding it to decorate your planners and notebooks.
I am so fortunate to be a design team member of Paper House Productions because not only to they make beautiful paper pads and stickers, these Washi Tapes are to die for! Look at how beautiful those prints really are, and with foiling! Love, love, love them all! Here’s what I got to play with:
For my first card, I started out by cutting my smooth white card stock to 5 1/2 X 4 1/4. I layered the StickyPix Stargazer Washi Tape with the Wine Washi Tape set and die cut the card stock with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Frames Die. I also used my Bow punch to punch out the pieces to create my bow with a gold-foiled card stock to match the washi.
I adhered my front panel onto the card base with my Xyron Tape Runner first, then adhered the gold bow on the foreground using a bit of hot glue. I finished my card design by stamping the sentiment onto the card.
Here’s my first card:
The stargazer washi tape set is one of my favorites. I just love the gold foil details and the color is just simply beautiful! Here’s a little close-up of the card:
I wanted to create a birthday card for my second project with the same design. This time, I used the Wine Washi Tape Set which is going to go perfectly with the sentiment. A friend of mine is turning 60 and she’s a bit bummed about it. This card will hopefully cheer her up!
Isn’t this hilarious? I just LOVE this Wine washi Tape Set and I think adhering it on a white card stock made the images pop!
I hope you all got inspired today to create some super simple and quick cards using some beautiful Washi Tapes. The supplies I used are listed and linked. Have a wonderful day!
Hello Everyone! Like most people who have planners, I love sticky notes! To be honest, I have always loved sticky notes and have used them in my planners for years. However, until recently, I had never heard of a sticky note dashboard (crazy, I know). Since my planner has a spine that can’t be opened, adding a ‘’pre-made’’ sticky dashboard is sort-of out of the question. So, I decided to make my own and that is what I will be showing you today!
Today, I am going to show you how to make a Removable Sticky Note Dashboard using Xyron! If you are unfamiliar with Xyron they are a company that creates products to enhance and protect your handmade creations. Some of the products that they are best known for are their sticker makers, creative stations, and tape runners. In today’s project, I will be using their tape runner.
This particular sticky note dashboard that I am creating, was designed to go into my Paper House Productions 18-Month Stargazer Planner. Like every Paper House planner, the 18-Month Stargazer Planner is beautifully put together and includes a variety of things. For example, quotes, pockets, several different places to take notes, stickers, etc. Also, if are not a fan of the ”galaxy look”, Paper House has a bunch of planner options ranging from florals to Wonder Women!
To create your own Removable Sticky Note Dashboard, you would do the following:
Step 1: Cut a piece of scrapbooking paper that fits on the inside of your planner. If you are using the 18-Month Stargazer Planner you will want to cut a piece of paper that is 6 ½ inches wide by 9 inches tall. The paper I used for my planner came from the Color Washed 12’’ Paper Pad.
Step 2: Grab all of your sticky note pads and lay them out onto your piece of scrapbooking paper. Once you are happy with the layout, flip each sticky note pad over and apply some adhesive to the back using your Xyron Tape Runner. Then press your sticky note pads into place.
Note: If you are wanting to use a big sticky note pad (like the blue pad in the corner) you will want to remove half of the sticky notes from the pad, so the sticky note dashboard doesn’t add more bulk to your planner.
Step 3: Lay your sticky note dashboard onto a planner page that you don’t mind covering up. Then grab a piece of washi tape (I’m using the wide tape from the Stargazer Washi Tape Set) and apply half of it the top of the sticky note dashboard, then fold over the half of the washi tape onto your planner page.
To further decorate your sticky note dashboard, you can apply more washi tape around your sticky notes. For my sticky note dashboard, I used the thin gold tape from the Wine Washi Tape Set to outline my sticky notes.
Once you are happy with how your sticky note dashboard looks, you are ready to start using it!
I love how this removable sticky note dashboard turned out! Using the Xyron Tape Runner really made the whole process go by very quickly. In terms of time, I had this dashboard created within 30 minutes. It probably should have taken me less time than that, but I kept changing the layout of my sticky notes!
Speaking of sticky notes, you may have noticed that I decorated my sticky notes. To do this I used the Stargazer Faux Enamel Sticker and Stargazer Life Organized Micro Stickers, which match back to the 18-Month Stargazer Planner. This is totally optional, but I thought it made the sticky notes look a little cuter.
Hello friends! Heather here with a traveler’s notebook layout for you! I am going to be using the unicorn insert for pictures of myself! So I used photos that I took on snap chat.
Along with the Traveler’s Notebook I used the Color Washed collection, a Xyron tape runner and the Xyron 3inch sticker maker. These products work so well together and I loved using them!
I used some of the Color Washed cut aparts in the 12×12 paper pad to help embellish the layout. I also used some of the stickers from the cardstock stickers. I love how fast layouts come together using the traveler’s notebook! If you do not have much time to create, but you want to create something, a traveler’s notebook is perfect for you! I hoe you all will head over to my Youtube channel to check out my process video of how I created this layout! Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Hello everyone! I’m here today with something a little different for me, a planner spread. I have been a huge planner person for a few years now but I rarely share my spreads. I was so excited to get the Stargazer planner to play with! It is undated 18 month calendar with the gorgeous celestial design. It also comes with pockets and stickers for all your planning needs. There’s a whole line that coordinates with the beautiful design to make it easy to decorate as you plan.
I have been in this planner for a couple of months now and decided that for April I want to change up the design a little. For me I have a tendency to get bored with planning and by changing up the design it keeps it fresh and interesting. So I chose some of the beautiful washi tape to use in altering the design.
For the first week in April, I was inspired by this amazing Pansies Washi Tape. It really spoke to me because my mind was on spring. I chose to use some watercolor to enhance the washi design. I then used my Xyron sticker maker to stick the cut aparts from the Color Washed collection. Last I added some of the Butterflies Faux Enamel Stickers to really make this feel like spring!
The second week of April was my birthday week! I love pulling out the Cupcake Washi Tape Set for this spread. It made it feel so festive. I used 2 layers of the washi to completely cover the design that was already on the page. I used the watercolor to create the rainbow balloons. I love how it came out! The Kawaii Planner Stickers were the perfect addition to this week!
I did find that as the week went on that the second layer of washi tape started to peel up a little. I assume this is due to the finish on the washi. I ran the top layer of the tape through my Xyron sticker maker to adhere it back to the washi. That solved that problem!
Hey, everyone! Caitlyn back up on the blog today! Today I’m going to show you how easy it is to put together a memory keeping spread in Paper House’s new Journey Books!
It’s no secret that I love memory keeping, but sometimes you want to work on projects on a smaller scale. I’m going to show you just how easy it is to put together a memory keeping spread in a traveler’s notebook!
The combination of Paper House Productions products really helps to tie in layouts. You can truly create beautiful spreads just using a few different pieces!
One of my biggest tips for putting together memory keeping spreads is to use big elements! The serene and beautiful colors from the Color Washed Paper Pad were perfect for this spread. Flipping through the paper pad, my eyes were drawn to the blue and white paper. The way the gold foil elements are set up on the page meant that it had just enough decoration that I didn’t need to touch it. The quotes on the right page also came from the Color Washed Paper Pad. The “best is yet to come” quote felt perfect for this spread.
Using both my Xyron tape runner and 3″ sticker maker, I was able to get these pieces in quick and easy. To finish off my page on the left, I used a rounded corner punch to better fit the page.
The best truly is yet to come, but these little moments are pretty close to being the all time best.
To finish off this spread, I included some hexagon diecuts from a different sheet of paper from the Color Washed Paper Pad. They helped to balance out this spread some more and add a fun little focal element.
I hope that this inspired you to try out a memory keeping spread in your own traveler’s notebook! I know I definitely enjoyed putting this together. See you all next time!
When I saw the new Journey Books, I just knew that I had to use that for a new little reading project. I just recently joined the Book of the Month club and wanted a way to record my monthly selections and my thoughts on the books that I receive. This system was the perfect way to document those book selections in a quick and easy format and I just love the result.
I knew that I wanted to create a repetitive format to my notebook insert that would allow me to quickly and easily document the book selection each month. Using the Life Organized planner stickers was just the perfect way to make that happen! For each page, I printed a 3×4 photo of that month’s book cover.
Then, I added a star chart underneath from the Star Gazer sticker pack that I could use to easily give each book a rating. I then added a small circular sticker and quote in the bottom right corner of each page from another of the creative journaling sticker books.
I even added a little detail to the front cover of the insert and I just love how things are coming together.
I am really looking forward to having this quick and easy format to document my upcoming monthly Book of the Month club selections and thoughts. I would love it if you leave me a comment below with your ideas on how to use these inserts too!

Hello Paper House Productions fans! I hope you are all having a great week so far. It’s Maria back on the blog today to show you how I set up and decorated my Traveler’s Notebooks, showcasing the new Unicorn Journey Book Set, Weekly Creative Journaling Stickers, Kawaii Stick-On Pockets, the Xyron Tape runner and a bunch of other supplies. Since I am traveling to Dubai and Athens the week that this blog post will go live, I thought this is the perfect opportunity to set-up my traveler’s notebooks so I can take it to the trip with me.
The Unicorn traveler’s journal will be set-up for my daily journaling. The white traveler’s journal will be set-up to write inspirational quotes that I like. I have a YouTube process video for you today so I will keep this blog post short. Here are some photos
Here’s what it looks like inside:
I used my Xyron tape runner to adhere embellishments on my pages which is why I also bring it with me when I travel.
The photo on the left side is my daily journal, and the photo on the right is where I wrote my favorite quotes.
Here’s my process video:
I hope I have inspired you today to set-up your own traveler’s journal. The supplies I have used are listed and linked. Have a wonderful day!
Hi everyone! Two things that I can’t get enough of is washi tape and coasters! Washi tape is just one of those craft supplies that you can always use more of and making your own coasters, is just so much fun. On my own blog, I have made coaster sets from clay, wood, calendars, sequins, and more. However, I never thought of combining my love of washi tape with making coasters, until today!
Today, I am going to show you how to make your set of Washi Tape Coasters featuring the Stargazer Washi Tape Set! These washi tape coasters are so easy to make and are the perfect project to create if you are a beginning crafter. This is because the washi tape coasters can be made in 3 steps and only require a few craft supplies.
To make the coasters, I used Paper House Production washi tape! The great thing about using Paper House’s washi tape sets, is that you get both a wide and thin washi tape. Also, Paper House has a variety of washi tape that you can easily mix and match with each other. For this project, I chose to mix and match the Stargazer Washi Tape Set with the Wine Washi Tape Set, to get a galaxy look!
To create your own Washi Tape Coasters featutring the Stargazer Washi Tape Set, you would do the following:
Step 1: Tear off pieces of washi tape and apply them to your coaster in the pattern that you desire. For my coasters, I used the wide purple tape in the Stargazer Washi Tape Set and the thin gold tape in the Wine Washi Tape Set.
Once you have covered your coaster, trim around the edges to remove the extra washi tape.
Step 2: Grab a paint pen that matches your washi tape (I used gold) and paint the edges of your coasters. Once the edges of your coasters have been painted, set them aside to dry.
Step 3: When your coasters’ edges have dried, grab some Mod Podge (I used Glossy) and paint a layer over each of your coasters. Adding a layer of Mod Podge will seal in the washi tape and add a protective top coat to your coasters.
Once your coasters have dried, you are now ready to use them!
I loved the galaxy look of these coasters!
One thing I wanted to mention, is that if you don’t want to use Mod Podge to seal in your coasters, you could also use Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. I have used Mod Podge Dimensional Magic on coasters before and love the final look. The only reason why I didn’t use it on this project, was because I wanted to create a super simple DIY that didn’t involve too much drying time. If you do use Mod Podge Dimensional Magic, you will have to wait 24-hours for your coasters to dry.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for taking the time to read my project post for Paper House Productions!
