Boy Mom Layout with Christine….

Christine MeyerBW

I wanted to take a chance to show you today how to make a boy layout sparkle!  Foil products are perfect for that because they can still have a strong masculine feel to them!  The 3D Sticker Set “Boy Mom” has foiling already in it.  i then took it up a notch by foiling my 3D Foam Stars from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L!

Boy Mom Scrapbook Layout by Christine Meyer for Paper House Productions

The 3D Foam Stars combined perfectly with the 3D Boy Mom Stickers to really be the bulk of my embellishments.

You aren’t gonna believe how easy it is to add foil to the stars!  THAT you will want to check out in the video below – AND be sure to SUBSCRIBE and COMMENT on it for your chance at our YOUTUBE giveaway!

Maria is showcasing her family too…

Maria Russell CircleHello Paper House Productions fans!  I hope you are having a great week.  Maria here on the blog today and this week, we are teaming up with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  I will be sharing a layout showcasing the Sun Drenched 12×12 Paper Pad and the Marbleous paper pad collection by the Paper House Productions with some amazing adhesives by Scrapbook Adhesives.

My mom loves the scrapbook layouts that I have been putting together lately and she asked my sister to email me some of her most favorite photos.  My parents were married for 41 years before my Dad passed away in 1996.  Even when they got a lot older, my Dad would still write love notes to my mom, hold her hand all the time and bring her flowers.  He was very romantic!

I started out with the Sun Drenched 12 x 12 paper pad collection as my base.  I printed my photos using my Canon Selphy Photo Printer .  To ground my photos, I adhered some black card stock with the E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.  This is my first time using the adhesives and let me just tell you, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the E-Z Permanent Strips Adhesive.  It applied so smoothly and the adhesive didn’t even skip!  I adhered the photos onto my scrapbook paper.

The theme this week for the collaboration is “SPARKLE”.  I wanted to use the gold foil sheet that I received but it wasn’t big enough to cover the moon and stars die-cut.  I opted to die-cut the elements with a gold card stock instead and adhered it using the Adhesive Dots – Mini.

To finish my design, I adhered the script sentiment with the Adhesive Dots – Mini and used my white paint pen to add some white dots all over the background.

I just cant say enough good things about the adhesives.  I will be ordering more of these adhesives to use for my projects, for sure!   The Adhesive Dots – Mini are super sticky and it gave some good dimension to my die-cut pieces.

I just love the background paper that I used using the Sun Drenched paper pad collection, and the contrasting orange piece from the Marbleous paper pad collection with the gold foiling.

Don’t you just love all the sparkle and shine?

I hope you all got inspired this week!  There is also a GIVEAWAY by the Paper House Productions on the Facebook Page and Blog.  The supplies I used are listed and linked.  Have a great weekend!
