Makes You Happy Foil Paper encouragement cards!

Hi Lisa here to share with you some quick and easy encouragement cards I made to keep in my purse using the Makes You Happy foiled paper from the Colorwashed collection. These cards do not open and on the back I like to add a piece of graph paper so I can hand write a personal note to the recipient. Here are my cards:

Supplies Used: Makes You Happy Foil Paper; Butterflies washi tape; Butterflies faux enamel stickers; Succulent Faux enamel stickers; Summer fun washi tape set, butterflies washi tape set; Llama washi tape set

These cut apart cards make even the novice paper crafter look like a pro!! You can go SUPER simple with these cards like I did with this one. This card was just cut apart from the larger paper sheet and then I added a strip of washi tape from the Butterflies washi tape set along the side of the card. To dress it up even more and to bring out the gold foil on the word “happy” I added an offset faux enamel butterfly sticker! This fun quote is sure to encourage someone and brighten their day!!

On my next card I stepped it up a bit and added a stamped quote on a piece of graph paper mounted on card stock. I then embellished my stamped quote by adding a doily under the top left corner of the quote. I added two faux enamel butterflies to this card of different sizes and at opposite corners to add visual interest and offset the larger doily. Nothing adds a finished look more easily then washi tape. I added two strips of washi tape from the butterflies washi tape set & the Llama washi tape set to balance out the card. This shows you how well the washi tape from different collections works so well together!!

The next card definitely took more time and was a bit more complex. For this card I layered two sizes of cards from the Makes You Happy foiled paper. I hand wrote my scripture and offset it using washi tape from the Summer fun washi tape set. I then added 2 adorable succulent faux enamel stickers to balance out my card and give it lots of sparkle and shine!

I hope these cards give you an idea of how you can make something look gorgeous with just a little bit of work. Remember many of the amazing Paper House products coordinate very well together to give your projects that stunning look of a a pro crafter who spent hours creating a special project! Christmas Joy Cards

CarolynCircle2Hello! Carolyn here to show you three really fun Christmas cards. I used the Christmas Joy Life Organized collection. All three cards required my Silhouette Cameo and corresponding files from their store to cut the images. I just love how they turned out!

PHpaperhousechristmascards

Supplies: Christmas Puffy Sticker, Christmas Epoxy Sticker, Christmas Rice Paper Border Sticker, Peace Joy and Love 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Memories 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Joy Tags 12″ Double Sided Foil Scrapbook Paper, Merry and Bright 3D StickerChristmas Magic Cardstock Multi Pack.

snowmancard3PH

This snowman card is a piece of 12 x 12 white cardstock folded and then cut in half. I cut a square of the stripped paper and a slightly smaller square of brown paper. The first layer of the snowman is brown, then white, then red. I finished it off with some buttons and google eyes from my stash and Life Organized puffy stickers.

windowcardPH

The window card is a layer of red paper, then white, then brown. The reindeer, trees and green strip are from the rice paper border stickers. The stars are a mix of epoxy and puffy stickers and the sentiment is from the cardstock multi pack.

candycanecardPH

The candy cane card is a layer of brown paper that I back-stitched with embroidery thread before adhering it to the white cardstock. I cut those candy canes a few times before getting the stripes to line up the way I wanted! The center stickers are 3D and the surrounding stars are epoxy stickers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now I just need to decide who gets to receive these cards!

Hearts and Feathers Project Pad Cards

CarolynCircle2It’s Carolyn back today to show you 6 different cards using the hearts and feathers project pads. The project pads have heart and feather shapes that are easy to punch out. They are so easy to use and match so well with the Color Washed Paper Pad and the Bohemian Friends Clear Stickers. Making these cards was a piece of cake!

Supplies for Project Pad Cards: Hearts Project Pad, Feathers Project Pad, Bohemian Friends Clear Stickers, Color Washed 12″ Paper Pad, Teacher Puffy Sticker.

rainbowheartcardpaperhouseproductions1

I covered this card with gesso so the paint would not ruin the cardstock. I then dripped watercolors down the cardstock. The sentiment is from the Bohemian Friends sticker sheet.

heartfriendcardpaperhouseproductions1

For this card, I layered some punched hearts. I used a black Tombow marker to outline the hearts and add some fake stitching. The sentiment is stamped with black ink with a stamp from My Sentiments Exactly.

HeartCardPaperHouseProductions1

This anniversary card is all hearts! I love how hearts can make flowers. I used alpha stickers from the Color Washed Paper Pad.

loveheartcardpaperhouseproductions1

For my final heart card, I used the Color Washed Paper Pad for the background and border stickers. The sentiment is from the Bohemian Friends sticker sheet and the twine is from my stash.

FeathersTeacherCardPaperHouseProductions1

I combined the Feather Project Pad with the Teacher Puffy Stickers. How awesome are these patterns and colors?!

friendcardpaperhouseproductions1

My last card is a combination of feathers and Bohemian Friends stickers. I love the layers that the feathers can make.

That’s all for today. I hope you’ve been inspired to use some hearts and feathers on your projects!

Friendship Cards with My Sentiments Exactly Stamps

CarolynCircle2

Hello paper fans! Carolyn back today with two friendship cards showcasing the beautiful Be Happy Paper Pad and My Sentiments Exactly Stamps. They were so easy to put together and now I have some cards ready to make the day of some special friends.

Friendshipcards2PH

Supplies for Friendship Cards: Paper House Productions Be Happy Paper Pad, CS Y220 Friendship Cards Clear Stamps by My Sentiments Exactly.

FriendshipcardsgoodFor this card, I folded a piece of 8.5′ x 11′ white cardstock. I cut the flowers from black cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. The ovals in the large flower are the negative cuts from the small flowers! I used two different ribbons from my stash and used the flower stickers that come with the paper pad. The sentiment is stamped using white ink. There were enough sentiments in the stamp set to personalize the inside of the card.

friendshipcardsgood2This card is the same as the other card but this time I used fussy cutting for the flowers. I love how fancy the stamp sentiment looks on this card! I could never have written something so pretty.

I hope you will take a moment to click on the supply lists above. My Sentiments Exactly has so many stamps to choose from you can’t go wrong. The stamps stuck really well to my clear block and were very easy to clean with water. But most importantly, the stamped images were clear every time.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to say hello to a special friend today!

Southwest Adventure Layout and Cards

sara-1

Hello Hello! Sara joining you today. I have a fun layout and some quick, easy, but eye-catching cards to share with you today using the Southwest Adventure kit…and a video tutorial for my layout…lots of cute projects so let’s get started!

I paired the papercrafting kit with some pops of white and some sequins to keep the layout from becoming too dark or heavy. The papers are white-based which makes them PERFECT for adding white for striking, high contrast pages!

dsc_4712

For my C.A.S. (clean and simple) cards, I used a white base but spiced it up with some ink and sequins and just the sticker sheet from the kit to creat some cute, fun cards!

I used this kit in so many different ways! I cut apart the papers to create borders…layered up the stickers, used the cut apart sheets for a journaling spot. I enjoyed this kit and all the deep, rich colors. This kit would also be perfect for boy layouts or if you like purple..there are some gorgeous eggplant purple colors in this kit. And the kit is so large I have plenty left for more fun projects!

Have A Lovely Day!
