Hi everyone! I’m here with my last layout for my term as a design team member here at Paper House Productions! I had so much fun working with this amazing group! I have a layout featuring The Great Outdoors Gone Fishing Paper Kit. When I originally received this in my DT package I went through and printed out a bunch of fishing photos. Today’s is one of my favorites!
I started this layout thinking that I was going to use the beautiful ombré blue paper with fish hooks as my background. That’s one of my favorite papers in this collection. But as I pulled in some of the cut aparts I soon found that I needed a white cardstock barrier to allow the other elements of the page to stand out.
I chose 2 cut aparts that are 4×4 size to stand on either side of my photo. I then pulled the colors I wanted to use out of the Catch of the Day card. I used some of the rice paper border stickers to adhere the cards to the page. This pulled in more of that color. I used the sticker sheet from the Paper Kit to add part of my title “GLAM” in the woodgrain alpha on the sheet. I used another cut apart card and fussy cut the “fishing” part of the title.
Then I decided to go nuts with the 3D stickers that come in the kit. I added them to both of the cards. Then I decided that I needed a little more interest around my design. So I pulled in the Life Organized Sports Fan Micro Stickers. The colors of these stickers match perfectly with the colors I was using. I chose to use all star stickers and just put them around the main part of my layout to create a sort of border. Then I added some of the puffy stickers to finish it off. I absolutely love how this came out!
Hi everyone! Daisie here with a layout I created using one of my favorite products from Paper House Productions. This layout is made almost completely from the Color Washed Paper Pad. This collection is bright, colorful, and vibrant. Perfect for any of my teen girl layouts!
I started with a white textured cardstock background that I misted with some gold mist. I layered the white cardstock on a watercolor paper from the paper pad. This added stability and a gorgeous pop of color around the outside of the layout.
I then used the cut apart sheets from the paper pad. I used mostly 3×4 cards but I did cut a couple of the 4×6 cards down. I just layered them around my photo in a way that I found pleasing to my eye. The colors are so bright and beautiful that it was hard to pick out which cards to use! Some of the cards have the gold foiling on them so I tried to make sure that the foiling showed. It goes so well with the gold mist on the background.
I worked on my title next. I used the tile letter stickers from the included sticker sheet for the smaller words in the title. I used the white “love” cardstock sticker also from the sticker sheet.
I decided to use the Brunch Faux Enamel Stickersto add some embellishment and to play up on the photo. These stickers have awesome foiling so they really go with the papers I chose.

Get ready to sparkle and soak up summer with Daisie!
Hello everyone! Daisie here with a fun summer layout. I love the Sun Drenched collection and all of the colors. The foiled papers in the paper pack are so shiny. They add just the right special touch to any summer layout.
I started by pulling some of my favorite paper out of the pack. I decided to use my electronic cutting machine to cut out many of these hibiscus type flowers. They go perfectly with the sticker elements for this collection! I then went through my stickers and chose a few that I thought would really go great with this theme.
I chose to use the 3D Foam Garden Shapes from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I wanted to add a few more sparkles to my layout so I thought adding glitter to these awesome foam shapes would be a great way to do that.
In this close up you can see the glittered foam shapes. I used some gold and purple glitter on the flowers and leaves from the foam sheet. They are just the right addition!
In the whole layout you can see that I used this beautiful foiled wave paper as my background. It was the perfect match to my photo. I layered the paper flowers using some 3D Foam circles from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. This gave the flowers some added dimension. I added some of the Faux Enamel Stickers, the puffy stickers, and a 3D sticker to add all of the little details to the page. The finished result makes me want to head back to the beach!

Kristina is helping us look at Perspectives…..
Today, I am going to be tackling the SHINE part of that equation using some gorgeous products from Paper House Productions as well as some fun adhesive options from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Make sure to stop by the video for a few tips on using gilding flakes on your projects too!
One of my favorite recent collections from Paper House Productions is the Marbelous collection. The papers and shiny gold detailing of this set of papers and stickers just creates such a unique and amazing look! I just know that you are going to love it too!
I started out knowing that I wanted to use a bunch of strips of paper from the Marbelous 12×12 Paper Pad and that I wanted them to be backed with black cardstock to make them appear more dimensional and to help the colors pop off the page. Then, I went back and added some rice paper washi (the flowers) to a few different spaces on the layout. Then, I also added the black with gold polka dot washi tape, also from Paper House Productions.
I added some enamel sticker butterflies to the different layers and paper strips and wanted to make sure that they followed a diagonal pattern across the layout. I also added a few sticker phrases from the Marbelous sticker booklet.
One of the coolest features that I created was using the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Power Tape. This super sticky tape allowed me to apply some gilding flakes and create a really quick and simple unique look. It even gives a little hint of mixed media without being super messy and time consuming. I just love that little extra detail to the areas around my photos.
Last, but not least, I created a unique title element using elements from my stash. I really hope that you love seeing how we are using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L this week to create unique glitter-sparkle-shine projects! Please make sure to stop by and check out the process video for this layout because it includes the tutorial on using those gilding flakes!
Hello everyone! I’m here today with something a little different for me, a planner spread. I have been a huge planner person for a few years now but I rarely share my spreads. I was so excited to get the Stargazer planner to play with! It is undated 18 month calendar with the gorgeous celestial design. It also comes with pockets and stickers for all your planning needs. There’s a whole line that coordinates with the beautiful design to make it easy to decorate as you plan.
I have been in this planner for a couple of months now and decided that for April I want to change up the design a little. For me I have a tendency to get bored with planning and by changing up the design it keeps it fresh and interesting. So I chose some of the beautiful washi tape to use in altering the design.
For the first week in April, I was inspired by this amazing Pansies Washi Tape. It really spoke to me because my mind was on spring. I chose to use some watercolor to enhance the washi design. I then used my Xyron sticker maker to stick the cut aparts from the Color Washed collection. Last I added some of the Butterflies Faux Enamel Stickers to really make this feel like spring!
The second week of April was my birthday week! I love pulling out the Cupcake Washi Tape Set for this spread. It made it feel so festive. I used 2 layers of the washi to completely cover the design that was already on the page. I used the watercolor to create the rainbow balloons. I love how it came out! The Kawaii Planner Stickers were the perfect addition to this week!
I did find that as the week went on that the second layer of washi tape started to peel up a little. I assume this is due to the finish on the washi. I ran the top layer of the tape through my Xyron sticker maker to adhere it back to the washi. That solved that problem!
Welcome to the Color Me Happy Blog Hop! We’re pairing up with SpiegelMom Scraps all week long for some colorful projects showcasing out collections and their sequins! We’ve got a great giveaway so be sure to stick around to the end of the post to get more details!
Hi everyone! I created this layout using the Marbleous paper pack and the coordinating card stock stickers. This collection is just gorgeous! The colors are stunning and the gold foiling really add the perfect touch!
I also used the stunning Make My Heart Sing sequin mix from SpiegelMom Scraps. They add just the perfect amount of sparkle and texture to the page!
Anytime I get to create a project for my planner I get really excited. The products over at Spieglmom Scraps makes planner projects even easier to create! All you need is a vision and an idea to make it happen. A little help from some sequins doesn’t help, either!
Here are three super easy planner project DIY’s that you can make for your own planner!
Project One: Planner Charm
Planner charms are really fun to have! Not only are they decorative, but they allow you to have your personality and ideas shine! In order to put together a similar charm you’ll need a small glass bottle with a wide mouth.
Add some glitter, some Chocolate Cookies sequins, and a small element of your choice and you have the base to your charm! All you need to do to finish it off is add a chain and some additional elements you might want to include.
To finish off my charm I added some ribbon and a key. You can easily add your own elements to create something all your own.
Project Two: Shaker Planner Clip
The first time I ever made a shaker box was when I was 12. It was in a scrapbooking class with my mom. They were so fun to create (and still are!). I’m so happy that shakers have crossed over into the planner world as well! I knew that I needed to create a really cute shaker clip using the Easter Basket sequins.
With the help of the Stargazer Faux Enamel stickers and both the Easter Basket and Morning Dew Drops sequins, I was able to create a beautiful clip!
Project Three: Planner Dashboard
Dashboards can be utilized in multiple ways and adapted to different styles of planner. You can create them for regular spiral bound planners, for traveler’s notebooks, or any planner that you can think of! All you need is some plastic, some sequins, and something to seal your shaker.
When I saw the Mystical Mermaids Faux Enamel Stickers I knew I needed to include them in my dashboard! My original vision for this was a lot simpler, but they needed to be included! The Color Washed 12″ Paper Pad had some great quotes included in the pack! By utilizing some of the pre-made pieces that were the perfect size for a dashboard, I was able to layer everything together to put this together! To help bring my vision to life, I pulled some of the smaller blue and purple sequins from the Rainbow Bright sequin set and added in the rest of my Morning Dew Drops. Don’t they look like bubbles?
The opposite side of the dashboard was an absolute no brainer! I didn’t add sequins to this side as I wanted the quote to be the highlight.
The washi edging made punching the holes for my planner a breeze. Plastic often breaks certain hole punches, so I always recommend adding a thinner layer such as washi to punch through. The Stargazer Washi Tape Set looked great with this dashboard, so that was an added bonus!
I hope you enjoyed these little projects I put together for you! See you all in my next post.
Hello everyone! Daisie here with a layout I created featuring the Birthday Faux Enamel Stickers. These were the perfect stickers to use for a layout about my son’s 15th birthday. The colors and shine to these stickers are incredible!
I started out with a white cardstock background. I then chose 2 patterned papers from The Great Outdoors Collection. The woodgrain matched the color of the brick from the picture perfectly, while the chevron paper brought some pops of color. I chose to tear the edges for some added texture.
I used a free cut file I found online and created a couple of embellishments and title to compliment the faux enamel stickers. I cut the files in both white cardstock and the chevron pattern paper to create this offset effect. Then it was time for the stickers! I love how the colors go great with the chevron paper. They are flat stickers with gold foiling. They have an enamel type finish to them that make them look like they are enamel shapes. Perfect for adding a special element to your page without adding bulk.
I chose to use the present stickers down in the right bottom corner for an added embellishment cluster. They look great together! I finished the page off with a scribbly outline and called it done!
Hello Everyone! Daisie here with a new scrapbook layout and process video. I chose to use the licensed Looney Tunes puffy stickers. These stickers are true to the characters and wonderfully puffy, I used the whole sheet!
I started with the photo for this layout. I was originally planning on using the Justice League Chibi Villans puffy stickers but when I came across this photo I knew it was the one. I chose the Looney Tunes Puffy stickers to perfectly compliment the photo. Immediately I decided that I wanted to mimic the closing shot of Porky Pig popping out of the curtain. I was able to accomplish this by cutting some circles out of some red glitter paper from my stash. I chose an 8.5×11 size layout for this because I didn’t want to embellish with anything other than the fabulous stickers.
I used some foam alpha from my stash for the title. I strategically placed the puffy characters around the page. I wanted to make them look like pairs. So I have the Coyote chasing the RoadRunner, Marvin the Martian looking for Bugs Bunny, Daffy and the Tasmanian Devil are buds at the top of the photo, and last but not least Tweety and Sylvester are flanking the bottom portion of the title.
To finish off the layout, I chose some white cardstock and black pattern paper scraps to back my photo. I used the Looney Tunes title sticker in the center of my title and scattered the puffy stars around to finish it off. I’m pleased with the fun tone of this layout! It really captures the feeling in my photo.
Please head on over to check out the process video! It gives you a closer look at the stickers as well as more details about the layout. Don’t forget to use my code PH18DAISIE for 15% off your next Paper House purchase!
Hello Everyone! Daisie here with a fun layout and process video featuring the Great Outdoors Fishing kit. This kit comes with 9 double-sided 12×12 pattern papers, a 12×12 sticker sheet, and a sheet of 3D stickers. I also added in a couple of the Great Outdoors puffy stickers. More than enough to document any big fish tales you may have!
I started with a white cardstock background from my stash. I added some dark blue mist sprinkled on to set the scene. I used a stock image of a fish that I found on Google for my template. I then went to town with the papers in this kit to create my fish.
The Gone Fishin’ 12×12 paper was perfect for my fish. One side has a beautiful ombre effect that starts darker on the bottom and lighter on top. I chose to flip the paper the other way for the body of my fish, even though the anchors ended upside down. The belly of the fish is created with the opposite side. It has a gorgeous misty outdoor scene. I loved the color of the trees and thought it would make for a great fish belly. I finished him off with some woodgrain fins from the b-side of the Into The Woods paper.
I matted my photo with a thin mat cut from the Catch Of The Day paper. It has colorful fishing icons all over it. While you can’t quite make out what they are from the mat that I used, it helps tie in all of the colors. I added a lot of the 3D stickers as embellishments around my photo. My title came from the 12×12 sheet of stickers that come with the kit. I finished it off by bringing some more of the colors around my page with the Great Outdoors puffy stickers. This collection is the perfect way to highlight this great catch!
Hello everyone!! Daisie here with another layout and process video for you. This layout features the Arizona, Canada, and Discover USA Destination stickers. These 3D stickers are great representations of each location. They are perfect for scrapbooking, travelers notebooks, and planners but would also work really well for work or school projects or presentations.
The layout I created showcases the locations of myself and my scrapbooking best friends. We met online and we are all from different places. I was able to directly represent their locations with the Destination stickers. I used some of the Discover USA to represent my location.
The background paper is from the Great Outdoors collection. It was the perfect neutral for this layout. I also pulled the Outdoors Flake Stickers in for some additional embellishment. I did some mixed media in the background with some mists but covered most of it up. I love the depth it adds to this paper.
