Harry Potter ATC

Hello Potterheads!  Terri here, with a fun ATC (artist trading card) that features the Harry Potter chibi washi tape.  The peek-a-boo feature is perfect for all your potter loving friends and family!  Big kids and little kids are going to love making these.  ATC cards are kind of like baseball cards; you collect them and trade them with your friends, and they’re typically sized 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
My card consists of a black base cardstock trimmed to the dimensions mentioned above, with the second, brick panel trimmed to 1/4″ less in dimension.  I found this amazing brick paper from the Delish Paper Kit that was perfect and reminded me of the secret entrance to Diagon Alley.  Paper House also has another really great brick paper, here.  The bricks look smaller, so you may have to trim out larger sections for your peek-a-boo windows.
Leave your corners square, or use a corner round punch, as I’ve done.
A craft knife is perfect for trimming random sections of the brick for your peek-a-boo scenes.  Just trim the sides and bottom of your brick so the flap can fold up.  To easily line up your washi tape, tack some tape to the ends of your strip so it will simply adhere to the back of your brick slot.  Easy!
I also used many elements from the Harry Potter planner sticker set and micro stickers.  I have them all popped up for dimension, using my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam circles.
I also used a Potter themed sentiment from my stash which is available here.  Simply stamp in a random pattern on the brick, using Colorbox Wicked Black ink and a masking technique.
You’ll find direct links to all the products I’ve used, over on my blog at Waving My Wand.  Thanks so much for stopping in!  Terri

Spice Delight

I love my Cajun food. Today I made a layout using the Delish paper line to showcase the pleasures we have by living near the gulf.

I cut out the tag from the tag sheet, I then added my title using multiple stickers from the cardstock sticker sheet and placed that on top of the cut out tag.

I added a few word stickers and even placed one on the photo in the corner. I also used the remaining pieces of my paper to make a banner and added it at the top and bottom of my photo.

If you never tried Dungeon Crabs you must try them – everyone needs a little spice in there life Right?

Combining the Blue Sapphire Colorways with the golden gingham from the American Road Trip Pad keeps the layout masculine but full of beautiful patterns.
