Fun Planner Ideas

Today we have a special feature from Brand Ambassador Erin Reed!

I love finding fun things to use in my planners, which I use for my work for social media, deign team posts, videos due, events, etc.  So my planner is functional and also I like to make it pretty!!

Paper House Productions has some amazing stickers and dies that are just perfect for planners, and some are made specifically for them!!  Here is my video with some tips on playing in your planner.

My theme for the month was just a color, so why not play it up and pull from all kinds of sticker sheets.  I even pulled stickers from the Life organized Nautical Planner Stickers, even thought it did not have any green, the gold was a perfect touch!

A ton of the little green pieces came from the Emerald Accent pack, I just love all the little bits from this, they are perfect for planners!!!

And then some of my favorite stickers I also pulled in to my planners since they were green.  First is the 2″ Butterfly Stickers, green butterflies!!

And then Sing Your Song Canvas Art Stickers, I love these!!!

It is fun to mix a little of the old with a little of the new!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Spring Break Flip Album

Hi all Erin here!  I have a fun way to capture your spring break or other vacations in a fun and easy way.  Pick out your favorite pictures from you vacation and place them in your little album, it even come with stickers!!

Each page your flip up, pull out, or flip over has journaling or a picture.  This little Adventure Flip Album is so easy to make, and the kit even comes with stickers!!!  Here is a video on how I put it all together.

Here are some close up pictures of some of the pages, the rest are all in the video.

I used some of the Discover Sculpted Stickers from Paper House to add to the book, some for something a little different on this zoo page.

The Flip Album even has its own stand, so you can rest it on the counter!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

One Big Happy Family Book

Hi everyone, Erin Reed here today.  I got these fun templates from a friend who was getting rid of them (company does not even exist anymore) and I thought they would beperfect for the base of a book!!!  So I used the Paper House One Big Happy Family collection to create the pages attached to the plastic templates and some pictures of my family from this past summer to make a Family 8×8 Scrapbook Album with 4 pages in it.

Here is a video tutorial on how I made this album.

Each page is about one of my kids and also there is a family page.  I off set the color blocked pages with a neutral page where I used the Paper House Acetate birds with a single graphic in the middle.  This helps break up all the “busy” in the book.

I turned all the photos into black ans white because they were really fighting with the colors of the collection.  I really wanted to use this collection for these pictures, because it worked so well.  So a quick and easy tip is to make all the pictures black and white or sepia to solve that problem!!
I added little bits of stickers, gems, or cut up tags to fill in the sections that the template left for me to play with.  This made it really easy to assemble my design for the pages, just find something that fits, says the right things, and stick it down!!  This made the book go really fast!

I left the front and back covers with the word family, because that is what the book is all about!

Making these little mini albums is so easy when you have an amazing collection to work with!

Love Tag

Tags are perfect for Valentines day to have on hand for when you need to give them out for friends, family, teachers, or loved ones.  2015 Design Team Member Erin is sharing another example of a cute Valentine’s tag to make!
heart tag ph
Here’s how Erin created this tag:
1) Using the Rouge Colorways paper collection, cut out a strip of the “Rouge Edgings” to 2.75” x 5.75” to fit onto a 3”x 6” kraft tag (cutting the top into a tag shape). Create the focal point of white and kraft cardstock cut to 1.5”x 2.5.” Then die cut a heart from the back side of the “Rouge Edgings” to use on top.
2) Add some string around the focal point and the “Love” from the Faith Sculpted Puffy Stickers.
3) Add some extra silver puffy stickers to the sides, white bow string on top and a white heart sticker at the top.
