My Sentiments Exactly Birthday Card

Hello! Samantha with you. Today I’m combining some Paper House papers and stickers with a stamp set from My Sentiments Exactly to create a cheery birthday card.

Supplies: Hello Baby Girl Paper Crafting KitMSE Quick Coloring Circle

Lately it seems that I can never have enough birthday cards, so I knew right away that I wanted to use the “Birthday Wishes” stamp from the MSE stamp set. I love finding new and different uses for themed collections, so I decided to try using the Hello Baby Girl Paper Crafting Kit with my birthday stamp. I figured the bright colors and simple patterns like dots and stripes would make for a cheery birthday card.

My favorite thing about using Hello Baby Girl for a birthday card is that I got to use the elephant holding a balloon puffy sticker. I think he’s adorable, and the perfect way to wish someone a happy birthday!

Combining My Sentiments Exactly stamps with Paper House Crafting Kits is a fun way to brighten someones birthday!

Baby Card Inspiration using Hello Baby!

Shannon Circle2

Good morning! Shannon here and I’m wrapping up the Pen Blade week with a set of four cards! The  Pen Blade works great! It is so versatile and can cut in a straight line effortlessly, or make super fussy cuts seem so easy! Take a look at the cards!

Hello Baby Picture Frame Using Pen Blades

CarolynCircle2

Hello everyone! Carolyn here today with a simple and fun picture frame that can be given as a new baby gift or a project for a special picture. The new Craft Sets from Paper House pair perfectly with the penblades!

Baby frame PH1Supply List: Hello Baby Girl Craft Set,  Hello Baby Girl Paper Crafting Kit, Pen Blades.

Baby Frame PH3

I began with this old wood frame that is meant for crafting. I painted it a long time ago and never liked it. I decided to use the craft set and Pen Blades to bring it back to life. This image shows the decal paper that comes in the kit, the layered stickers, alphas and Pen Blades.

Baby Frame PH5I wrapped the craft paper around the frame while folding down the corners. I used the #11 Pen Blade to cut the window out of the frame. It was so sharp and so easy to control.

Baby Frame PH2

I pushed the sticky paper into the corners and used the Pen Blade to cut off the excess.

Baby Frame PH4

I finished it off with lots of embellishments. I made the accordion flower by scoring a  strip of paper in intervals and then folding them into a flower shape. I’m so happy to be enjoying this frame again and that you could join me today.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards

photo-of-carolyn

Carolyn back today with two baby cards. I’m so lucky to have a new boy and girl join the extended family last month. Of course I needed to make cards with the Hello Baby collections. The cards are 6″ x 6″ which I found easy to work with since I almost always make 12″ x 12″ layouts.

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards Supply List

Kohlt Card 1

For the boy card, I cut out a rattle handle using my Silhouette Cameo. I made a circle in the grid paper and put a cut apart card behind it. I spelled the baby’s name with the cardstock stickers. Then I fused a plastic pouch of sequins and slid it behind the open circle. Some flags and  embroidery thread finished it off.

Kohlt Card 2

Here is the inside of the card. I like opening a card and seeing something beyond the writing so I cut several circles from the paper in the kit and added a sticker.

Liv Card 1

Here is the girl card. I used my Silhouette to cut the star out of the stripped paper and slid a plastic shaker of star sequins behind it. I wanted it to pop off the page more so I outlined it in black. I cut the words out of a cut apart card in the kit and used puffy and cardstock stickers to embellish.

Liv Card 2

I continued the sentiment from the front of the card on the inside. And I made use of that star I cut out! A few more stickers and it is done.

Thanks for checking out this post and have a great day!

Creating with Kids – Baby Scrapbook Layout

christine

Hi there crafters!  Christine joining you today with the second in our series of Creating with Kids.  Today we are going to be putting together a baby scrapbook layout.  I taught this in a local class with 10 little girls and they really enjoyed figuring out which baby picture to add and playing with all the different options from the Hello Baby Girl Collection!

Here’s a shot of my daughter with her completed layout:

The layout comes completely from the Hello Baby Girl collection except for the added cardstock and some brads.  The favorite part for the girls in their creating was the puffy stickers!

How about a process video to show you just how easily this can come together?

If you want to check out the first layout in this series you can check it out here.  We’d love to see what you are creating with your kids!  Be sure to share with us on our Facebook Page.

Hello everyone! Carolyn here today to share my first layout with the Paper House team. Have you seen the new collections on the blog and in the store? There are so many fun products including the Hello Baby Girl collection. This was the perfect set to scrap a couple of my remaining baby pictures of my daughter.

I wanted my photos to stand out and realized they fit really well in these frames (which are actually cut apart cards with the centers cut out).  I used a stencil to trace and cut borders from the striped paper.

The bursts are made from the manufacturer’s strips at the bottom of each paper. The title is made from alpha stickers which are conveniently hiding a title on the card that doesn’t match my theme.

The best part of this kit is the puffy stickers! They are so cute it was hard not to use them all.

Thanks for checking out this layout! It was a fun trip down memory lane. I’ll be back again soon – probably with lots of puffy stickers! Have a great day.
