Gratitude Journal with Natalie

Hey Paper House friends! Natalie here with a question – are you playing along with Paper House’s Gratitude Challenge?

If so – AWESOME! If not, it’s definitely not too late to get started. There are thoughtful prompts for every day. You can play along in whatever format you desire & there are PRIZES!

I decided to use a Gold Dots Journey Book for my Gratitude Journal. They come in a pack of two, so there’s another for another project soon!

I love using stamps in travelers notebooks! Washi is also an essential in your travelers notebook supply pouch. I used the washi as inspiration for the colors of my title page.

Day 1 prompt was Something Good about the past 24 hours. Since it was November 1, Halloween was the day before. I picked a photo of me, Mother of Dragons with my boys & talked about how we had fun on Halloween night!

Day Two – A place you have the most fun. I absolutely LOVE the Great Smokey Mountains. Cades Cove in the National Park is one of my favorite places in the world to be. I used the Great Outdoors papers to perfectly accomodate the photo & story.

Day Three was to discuss gratitude about someone in your everyday life. Who better to talk about on this page than my Ride or Die?

Day 4 is to talk about something about your personality that you are grateful for. I discussed my Rustic Sparkle style & how it shapes so much of my life!

Day 5 is the favorite thing about your family! I used this Call of the Wild paper from the Great Outdoors to talk about how my little family loves to go on outdoor adventures.

Day 6 is something Extra you Appreciate. I took it in satirical stride & posted about how my Mom made me Extra. LOL! Isn’t this paper, Autumn Woods, so gorgeous!?

I also used some stickers from the Autumn Woods Planner Stickers book and Autumn Wood Micro Stickers.

Rounding out the week with Day 7’s prompt of “a place that holds great memories.” We are in a Disney state of mind with a trip upcoming, and I cannot wait to see the castle lit up for the holidays again! My boys have such fun memories of our trips to Disney, and I’m so grateful we have a chance to make more soon! These Magical Memories stickers are so perfect for documenting those fun times!

I hope you will join us in our Gratitude Challenge! Post online using the #PHgratitude.

xoxo Natalie

Journey Book Planning Inspiration from our Creative Team

Our Creative Team uses their Journey Books in a variety of way from memory keeping to planning to bullet journaling. Here’s some examples of what they were up to with them last month!

First up is Kristal – using hers to document quotes that caught her attention. She broke her Journey Book into 8 blocks using one for each day and one to decorate.

Kristal is using our Creative Journaling Stickers along with Washi Tape and some Stargazer Stickers on this spread!
Kristal keeps her approach similar from week to week – so she knows right where to start! Then she fills in the details with Creative Journaling Stickers and Washi Tape!
Kristal makes this look so fun and easy and yet so very creative!

Next up we have Jenny who uses hers for planning and habit tracking!

Jenny manages to get a lot of stickers on there in combination with her drawing and writing.

This before the pen spread from Jenny has so many fun details. How about how she incorporated that pocket sticker!?!
Just like Kristal, you can see that Jenny keeps a similar format in hers. You can definitely see that she loves color and uses stickers with lots of color in them!

Now let’s take a look at Liz and how she is using hers!

Liz uses hers for a traditional planner but has blocks similar to what we saw from Kristal!
For this summery spread, Liz didn’t draw in blocks but there’s still a great separation between days thanks to the fun stickers she used!

Washi Tape Anyone?

Although we already highlighted some spreads from Jenny – we wanted to show you how she keeps track of her Washi Tape! This one has her Harry Potter Washi!
And this one showcases some of her other favorites! We agree with her! Give us all the Washi!

Planning in a Traveler’s Notebook

Caitlyn Storm Circle Hello everyone! It’s Caitlyn up on the blog today and I can not believe that it is my last post with Paper House Productions on the design team! This opportunity has been absolutely amazing and I’m so sad that the Winter/Spring term is ending. I have learned a lot and I have grown a ton on my journey on the design team and I am so glad that I got to be among so much talent.

During my time with Paper House Productions I have had a lot of time to work with a ton of different products. However I never touched one specific product – the journaling stickers. I am such a huge planner, but for some reason I never picked them up! That definitely needed to change and after using these stickers – totally in love!

Planning in a traveler's notebook

I have no idea why I haven’t used the journaling stickers sooner. They are absolutely amazing and look great with whatever you create! These stickers make planning in a traveler’s notebook an absolute dream and I can’t wait to use these even more. I knew I didn’t need two pages devoted to planning this week due to a crazy work schedule so I decided to throw in some memory keeping as well! I love that the Journey Books give the freedom to truly create whatever you’d like! Some weeks I just want to memory plan and some weeks I want to plan. In this case I figured both would work out well!

Planning in a traveler's notebook

I absolutely adore that the journaling sticker sets are all made with a clear matte material. I love matte stickers since they’re super easy to write on and these just look great! There are so many different options in each set that it’s very easy to mix and match the

TravelersNotebookPlanning3

The Monday night I decided to use as my memory keeping was absolutely beautiful. When I was flipping through the Be Happy paper pad, I spotted the Make Life Magical deco piece and it was absolutely perfect. I went through some of my other products and spotted the moon and stars puffy sticker from the Great Outdoors line and felt that would be a cute accent. Into the book it went!

Products Used: Nashville Journey Book, Be Happy 12″ Paper Pad, Great Outdoors Puffy Stickers, Weekly Creative Journaling Stickers, Monthly Creative Journaling Stickers, Trackers Creative Journaling Stickers

Journey Book Layout with Heather

Heather Little Circle (1)

Hello friends! Heather here with a fun layout using my Journey Book! I absolutely love working in this size notebook to document photos that don’t need a whole 12×12 layout. I have had so much fun creating in this notebook and taking it places with me!

fullsizeoutput_1c5b

I went with a different color scheme for me this time too! I used orange and yellow with some pops of gold. I used papers and stickers from the marbleous collection. This collection happens to be my favorite! To see my whole process on how I created this layout please head over to my youtube channel and check it out!

Traveler’s Notebook – Beach Trip Memories

Laura Cox Circle PH 2018

Hi everyone!  Laura here with you all today!  As a scrapbooker, I love making albums full of memories.  Lately, I’ve found a great new way to take notes and remember the trips we go on…..a traveler’s notebook.  Paper House has some gorgeous ones!

We love our yearly trip to North Carolina and the beautiful beaches there.  The Paper House Tropical Journey Book is a perfect fit for this years road trip!

Road Trip 2018 PHP TN by Laura C

The Sun Drenched 12×12 Paper Pad and Sun Drenched Cardstock Stickers pair up to make great accents for the notebook.

Paper House washi tape is always fun to use in a travel journal or planner.  It’s easy to layer on cardstock and die cut to make great accents, or to use as borders.

Tropical TN close up #2

It’s also great to mix and match with the Sun Drenched Cardstock Stickers which include an alpha in addition to the beach themed stickers.

Road Trip 2018 PHP TN page 2

The Sun Drenched papers and stickers are great for creating little scenes on your page and all compliment each other perfectly.  And those cute little starfish and seahorses on this page are part of the Micro Stickers collection from Paper House Life Organized. They are a good way to highlight bullet points you’d like to make sure to remember.

Road Trip 2018 PHP TN page 3

The different sizes of washi tape in each of the Paper House washi sets make great page dividers, or you can layer them together to make wider borders.

Tropical TN close up #3

And to wrap it all up, the embossed outer cover is so detailed, has a band to secure everything, and you can add a cute little charm to add a little extra something.

Tropical TN 2018 close up #1

This charm, is a simple paper clip, with 2 paper circles glued together over it, and a Neon Tropical Faux Enamels sticker.  A great little finish to this road trip journey notebook!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Stop by soon for more inspiration!

Supplies Used: Paper House: Sun Drenched 12×12 Paper Pad and Cardstock Stickers, Neon Tropical Faux Enamels, washi tape, Journey Notebook, micro stickers.
