For the background, I inked a 12 inch by 12 inch piece of white cardstock with Ranger Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. With the Reindeer Double Sided Paper, I machine stitched it to the white card stock background. On top of the Reindeer Double Sided 12″ Scrapbook Paper, I added the Snowflake Acetate Paper and machine stitched around the edges instead of using adhesive because with acetate paper being transparent, I had to strategically adhere it without having the adhesive show. Stitching is the way to go.
I also fussy cut some snowflakes from the Snowflake Acetate Paper and added them over the acetate background to give more dimension. Sequins make everything sparkle more so I added some silver sequins with a dab of liquid adhesive to some of the centers of the snowflakes.
I love the Reindeer Puffy Stickers and thought I would add two of them to add more dimension to the layout. I also added some more stickers from the Merry & Bright Sculpted Stickers and created the “Merry & Bright” title . Finally I added the Santa 3D Shimmer. Santa lights up so it gives the frame a fun element.
To complete the frame, I added the layout to a black 12X12 scrapbook frame from Michael’s that I removed the glass from because the acetate is already shiny. It is difficult to photograph this frame as it has a glare, but I was happy how this turned out and I thought it would look great in the front foyer of my home.
I hope you enjoyed my Santa And Reindeer Frame.
This is my last post for 2016. I hope you all have a wonderful festive holiday season and a happy new year!
I wanted to create a mini pocket album and added photos in the pockets of these cuties. I wanted to use Halloween photos in the album.
The chipboard album was created on my Silhouette Cameo using a cut file that I purchased online designed by Lori Whitlock. After I cut out the album on chipboard, it was time to go ahead and embellish it with lots of papers, stickers, puffy stickers and diecut stickers from the Where The Wild Things Are Paper Crafting Kit. Here are some closeups of each page.
This was so fun to create and it will make a perfect gift for anyone.
Hello Paper House fans! It’s Lee-Anne here today and for the last two weeks the Paper House Productions designers have been sharing their favorite Paper House products. For me, my favorite products are the new and beautiful Autumn Woods Collection. Since Fall is such a gorgeous season where I live, I thought I would share a layout of my puppy Syd going for a walk with me in the forest near my home. I just love the sound of crunchy leaves.
For my background I began with white cardstock and watercolored it with distress inks in coordinating colors of the patterned papers.
I fussy cut the leaves and the title and added dimension to the layout by adhering them with foam dimensional squares. To make the photo stand out a little more, I matted it with the brown floral patterned paper.
I am smitten with the adorable fox puffy stickers so I added one to the bottom right hand corner of the photo and also the word “explore”.
For the bottom section of the layout, I cut and adhered some paper strips and also a floral border sticker. Finally, I journaled above the paper strips with a black felt fine line pen and also below the floral border sticker.
I really love the warm tones of Fall and a puppy just makes it even better don’t you think? Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Autumn Woods Collection in the Paper House Productions store.
I am loving the paper and the stickers of all things country and horses. I combined both the puffy and the 3D card stock stickers around my photo. I love the texture and dimension it gives the layout.
Sometimes I like to add papers that were meant for a certain theme, such as the chevron and star paper that were in the All Star Football collection, but thought they would be awesome for this western themed page. I added some strips that I tore and inked to the right edge of the layout and then took my sewing machine and stitched it down and then added a piece of twine and some sequins to direct the eye to the photo.
I hope you are inspired to create with all the awesome 3D puffy stickers and 3D card stock stickers and also use papers in a different theme than what they were intended for. Have a great day!
Hello friends! It’s Lee-Anne here on the blog today sharing a layout I created of my niece and her two horses Cameo and Willow. She is quite the cowgirl now and competes in barrel racing and is also a member of the 4H Club.
For my layout I used the Stable Wood 12″ Scrapbook Paper as my background paper. With my sewing machine, I stitched 1/4 inch inside the outside edge around the perimeter of the paper. I matted the photo with the Champion paper and backed it with some Field of Dreams Paper and added the Giddy Up Sticker and the date on some white cardstock that I printed on my printer.
Below the photo I added the Horsing Around Title and the White Horse and Brown Horse 3D stickers.
On the bottom left of the page, I added the I Love Horses 3D Sticker, the Horseshoe and Square Horse 3D stickers.
On the bottom right of the page, I added two paper strips and the Saddle 3D Sticker and the Dark Brown Horse 3D Sticker. I also added some heart and star stickers and natural twine to all three corner embellishment clusters.
I love creating layouts for my family and relatives and I know my niece will be happy to get this page in her album. Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out all the wonderful products at Paper House Productions.
Using the other side of the Atlantis Trim Cards 12″ Colorways Scrapbook Paper, I took some scissors and cut out the small square designs and traced them with a die cut shape that I had from a cut file (Quilted Background) from Just Nick Digital Cut Files. Once they were traced, I cut the squares out with scissors.
I adhered the square designs onto the striped paper and then added the words “Faith, Hope, and Joy”.
