Hi everyone! I created this layout using the Marbleous paper pack and the coordinating card stock stickers. This collection is just gorgeous! The colors are stunning and the gold foiling really add the perfect touch!
I also used the stunning Make My Heart Sing sequin mix from SpiegelMom Scraps. They add just the perfect amount of sparkle and texture to the page!
Anytime I get to create a project for my planner I get really excited. The products over at Spieglmom Scraps makes planner projects even easier to create! All you need is a vision and an idea to make it happen. A little help from some sequins doesn’t help, either!
Here are three super easy planner project DIY’s that you can make for your own planner!
Project One: Planner Charm
Planner charms are really fun to have! Not only are they decorative, but they allow you to have your personality and ideas shine! In order to put together a similar charm you’ll need a small glass bottle with a wide mouth.
Add some glitter, some Chocolate Cookies sequins, and a small element of your choice and you have the base to your charm! All you need to do to finish it off is add a chain and some additional elements you might want to include.
To finish off my charm I added some ribbon and a key. You can easily add your own elements to create something all your own.
Project Two: Shaker Planner Clip
The first time I ever made a shaker box was when I was 12. It was in a scrapbooking class with my mom. They were so fun to create (and still are!). I’m so happy that shakers have crossed over into the planner world as well! I knew that I needed to create a really cute shaker clip using the Easter Basket sequins.
With the help of the Stargazer Faux Enamel stickers and both the Easter Basket and Morning Dew Drops sequins, I was able to create a beautiful clip!
Project Three: Planner Dashboard
Dashboards can be utilized in multiple ways and adapted to different styles of planner. You can create them for regular spiral bound planners, for traveler’s notebooks, or any planner that you can think of! All you need is some plastic, some sequins, and something to seal your shaker.
When I saw the Mystical Mermaids Faux Enamel Stickers I knew I needed to include them in my dashboard! My original vision for this was a lot simpler, but they needed to be included! The Color Washed 12″ Paper Pad had some great quotes included in the pack! By utilizing some of the pre-made pieces that were the perfect size for a dashboard, I was able to layer everything together to put this together! To help bring my vision to life, I pulled some of the smaller blue and purple sequins from the Rainbow Bright sequin set and added in the rest of my Morning Dew Drops. Don’t they look like bubbles?
The opposite side of the dashboard was an absolute no brainer! I didn’t add sequins to this side as I wanted the quote to be the highlight.
The washi edging made punching the holes for my planner a breeze. Plastic often breaks certain hole punches, so I always recommend adding a thinner layer such as washi to punch through. The Stargazer Washi Tape Set looked great with this dashboard, so that was an added bonus!
I hope you enjoyed these little projects I put together for you! See you all in my next post.
Hello everyone! Daisie here with my first layout and YouTube video for Paper House Productions! I chose to use the Marbleous paper pack to create a fun and colorful layout. Add in the stickers from this collection and we have a beautiful unicorn and who doesn’t love a unicorn?
I used some silver mixed media and a cut file to create the unicorn. I used the same medium to create the starry background. The star stickers from this collection spread the color around the page nicely. My title also came from the sticker sheet. The repetitive colors in this layout pull your eye around the page. To finish off the title I used a silver alpha from my stash. For more detailed information please check out the video for this layout.
Thank you so much for visiting! I will see you again soon!
I am super excited to be starting my adventure with Paper House Productions today featuring some of my favorite techniques. I was really inspired by the Marbleous and Color Washed 12×12 paper pads and knew that I wanted to use them to create a unique, hand-stitched element on my page. Hand-stitching is one of my absolute favorite design techniques!
For this project, I printed an online image of a vintage trailer and used it as a pattern to create my own vintage trailer to include on my layout. The Marbleous paper pad was a perfect place to start with building the foundation pieces of my trailer. Then, I grabbed the Color Washed paper pad to include some bold accent details. I created a coordinating title element from the same paper choices and used my tab and label punches to create some embellishment clusters.
I used the washi tape from the Summer Fun Life Organized collection to keep a subtle repeating design element throughout the layout. Adding a few puffy stickers and label stickers completed my look. I am SO excited about how this layout turned out and hope that you feel inspired to look at your paper pads in a new light!
I really hope that you will join me over on my You Tube channel where I talk a lot more about how I took these gorgeous patterned papers and created a hand-stitched, unique element on my page.
Hello! Samantha with you today to share a layout using embellishments from my favorite new planner collection, Great Outdoors. Mixing embellishments to create texture is a fun way to add interest to any layout.
These new Stick On Pockets are one of my favorite ways to add texture to layouts. They’re a bit plastic-y (so they’re strong) which also gives them a bit of a vellum look. For and even more interesting look, I layered up 2 pockets on top of each other.
The grouping pictured above mixes patterns already printed on the patterned paper, rice paper border stickers, planner card stock stickers, and epoxy stickers to create a cluster of embellishments that’s visually interesting and draws you into the layout.
Carrying a mix of embellishments (epoxy, card stock, puffy, etc.) throughout the layout helps keep the layout looking cohesive. With all the choices in Paper House’s new Great Outdoors collection, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from! How do you mix embellishments to create texture on your layouts? Save
Hi there Paper House Fans! Christine joining you today with a layout that highlights just how easily you incorporate all those new planner products into your scrapbook layouts as well! Here’s the layout I created!
