Mixing and Matching Collections – Autumn Scrapbook Layout

Julie Tucker-Wolek Circle 2Hi everyone! Julie here with you today sharing a layout I made! One of the things that I LOVE about Paper House Productions is how versatile their products are! I love mixing and matching their collections, because they work so well together!  Here’s how they came together for an Autumn Scrapbook Layout.

7

For my layout today, I mixed papers from ‘The Great Outdoors’ collection with embellishments from the ‘Autumn Woods’ collection! They work perfectly together!

The little critters in the ‘Autumn Woods’ collection are just ADORABLE!

Mixed Media with a Twist

Christine Circle 2Happy Halloween Eve – who’s ready to get spooking?  Our house is packed with excitement, but before I could take more pictures, I had to capture this memory from a couple years back!  As I sat looking at the Acetate Paper from the Wicked Good Collection, an idea came to my mind.  Join me as I show you how I incorporated it to do some Mixed Media with a Twist!

The bootiful Acetate Paper made the perfect canvas for adding mixed media to my layout and I will definitely be incorporating this technique in the future.  How about those green foil eyes on the spider?!? Too Much Fun!  And of course that fussy cut ghost – those really helped pull the whole layout together.

Happy Haunting Friends!

Traveler’s Notebook using Destinations Stickers

Christine Circle 2

Have you jumped into the Traveler’s Notebook craze?  I am going to show you today how I use it in a very traditional way – for documenting our travels.  Christine joining you today with a Traveler’s Notebook using Destinations Stickers.

New York Traveler's Notebook Using Destinations Stickers

Our family is about to set off on a road trip therefore in preparation for that I put together four spreads, one for each state along the way.  The new Destinations stickers combined beautifully with the Autumn Woods Collection and the Great Outdoors Collection to make this a fun project to put together.

Supply List: Autumn Woods Puffy Clips, Autumn Woods Puffy Stickers, Autumn Woods Epoxy Stickers, Great Outdoors Patterned Paper, Great Outdoors Stick On Pockets, Great Outdoors Cardstock Stickers, Destinations Stickers – Maine, Destinations Stickers – New York, Destinations Stickers- New Hampshire, Destinations Stickers – Vermont, Autumn Woods Flake Stickers, Autumn Woods Patterned Paper,

Vermont Traveler's Notebook Using Destinations Stickers

The new Destinations stickers have both flat and 2D Stickers and even some foiling.  I made good use of them on each spread.  I like to cover one side of each spread with patterned paper and the Autumn Woods collection has the beautiful rich colors I needed.

New Hampshire Traveler's Notebook Using Destinations Stickers

For my last two spreads I switched to patterned papers from the new Great Outdoors collection.  While it’s outdoors themed, it still lends itself to autumn pictures (and some winter too).  I’m looking forward to playing more with this rich collection.

Maine Traveler's Notebook Using Destinations Stickers

I love the practical uses for the Stick On Pockets and how you can use them on so many projects.  I used one here to tuck my journaling into.  Wanna check out more on how I put these together?  Here’s a process video that shares more details

Now that I have these put together, I’m really itching to get on the road…but first to pack!

I used one of the Patterned papers as my background and one of the larger cut-aparts which I placed to the left of the page. I fussy cut around the floral image at the bottom of the cut apart and nestled my photo into it.

I used another one of the cut Sparta and added strips of Autumn phrases above the photo. I added some of the Autumn Woods puffy stickers and Cardstock stickers around my photo and some ink splatters as well.

Hello friends! Katty here to share a fun scrapbook layout with you all. I am working with the awesome PenBlades and the Discover USA Collection. Brothers Supply List: PenBlades, Discover USA Papercrafting Kit, One Big Happy Family 12″ Cardstock Stickers

I began with several patterned papers from the Discover USA Collection, for my background I used a dark woodgrain paper. I used a large strip of a green patterned paper down the center.

I used the Penblade to cut out triangles from a red checkered patterned paper and used that as a frame behind my photos. I added white cardstock behind the triangles and traced them with a navy blue pen.
