I’m excited to share with you my first time ever playing with planner goodies……i’m so hooked!!!! I’m going to share my month of August with you.
I’m using the fun PaperHouse/ML planner. The first week I would say was just basic. I used some washi tape, stickers, and sticky notes.
Week two I experimented a little more. I did a little doodling around the outside and adding some stamping in the corners.
I have decided that I like to put washi tape across the center of it to divide my day into morning and afternoon….not sure how others are doing it but that is the way i’m rolling right now (that may change) I have also started writing positive vibes at the bottom to get me through the week!!
I got a stash of Paper House goodies and picked out these fun little clips….love that added little embellie to my planner.
Well that is month one of my planner in the books….i’m super excited to get some planner time in to start on September!
Hey, everyone! Hope you’ve had a wonderful start to spring so far! It’s Caitlyn back on the blog to show you how to make some really easy planner clips! Want to know how easy? They should take 10 minutes or less! Wow.
Planner clips are such an easy way to add personality to your planner. Those within the traveler’s notebook community truly take their planner clip game to the max. Often times you’ll see photographs of just the top part of their notebook, showing off all of the beautiful clips they’ve collected. The best part of these particular clips is how different you can make these – just by using washi tape!
There are several steps to take to get to the point shown in the photograph above. The first step is to take thin cardboard, like from a cereal box. Once you have your chosen material, you can start to create your diecuts. Place strips of washi on your material in any order that you would like.
Depending on how you’re cutting your diecut, these next few steps will change. For this particular project, I used a stamp and diecut set. I stamped my design first and then moved along to cutting the diecut. It’s very important to line your diecut up with the stamp. If you’re not using a stamp you can proceed to just cutting the diecut.
Now we can start assembling your clips. Take one of your die cut pieces and lay it face down, blank side up. Use your Xyron tape runner to apply adhesive to the bottom portion of your die cut. Then place your paper clip down on the adhesive.
Instead of using the tape runner for the other half of the clip, I used my Xyron Sticker Maker. Using Xyron’s Sticker Maker machine allows me to add adhesive to pieces quickly and accurately. To add adhesive place your element into the machine, keeping the design side up. Then you will pull the adhesive paper on the other side to help guide the object through the machine. The Sticker Maker helps you make sure that you have adhesive on the full design. This helps to create a nice seal on your two diecut pieces, making sure that your paperclip will stay in place.
In this photo you can see the first clip completed. I very carefully matched the shape to the second diecut and then pressed the two pieces together, creating a sandwich. I then repeated this process two more times to put together the other two clips.
Now you should have your completed planner clips! The total time from start to finish each clip was around 10 minutes, making this particular project not only easy, but fast.
I hope you all enjoyed this super easy project! I hope you all start to create your own planner clips to add to your planners.
Hi everybody! Shannon joining you today and I’ll warn you in advance, this post is picture heavy! I am going to admit something to you, I was intimidated by planners. It was not something I wanted to embrace, I didn’t think I would be able to fill up pages with details of my life, my family, our day to day. On the contrary, I have been busy making plans with my Kawaii Planner.
I honestly didn’t think my days added up to that much. I am a housewife, I don’t have a job that I leave the house everyday, I felt kind of silly writing down…laundry. As I began recording things I needed to do, had to plan for and appointments..I saw that my days were actually filled, they were important, they did matter to the people I am surrounded by. There was no reason for me to feel like my days didn’t matter because they weren’t filled with important meetings and deadlines. My meetings, emails, deadlines are important too. Everyone has a role in this fabric of life. The point here is use your planner, enjoy filling your planner, realize that comparison is the thief of joy and know your days matter whether you’re a mom or a businesswoman, or both!
I’m sharing the last few weeks of my life with you and the month of September, as I am still filling the days. Paddy and the boys are in full football mode and right now, it is all we know, and that’s ok. I’m the Meal Mom, and I am so happy to take care of the boys each week and the planner helps me keep everyday moments recorded and organized.
Paper House Productions planners and accessories…what can I say about them? The real question is…what can’t I say about them?!?!? They are simply amazing. They are easy to use, they coordinate with other lines and meld perfectly together. You can layer them or you can let them stand alone.
The Kawaii planner has so many fun colors and coordinating accents, consequently you can’t help but smile!
The planner offers plenty of space for you to write down all of the important to do’s, dates, appointments, random thoughts…there are so many possibilities.
The Stick-On Pockets are a fun addition to any spread.Adding details to the planner are almost effortless.
Guess what?!?! I’m jumping right into September so stay tuned for that! Thank you for letting me share with you!

Hello everyone! TinaGale here and I’m so excited to be sharing the new Make Every Day Great planner with you today.
When I received it I knew immediately I wanted to try my hand at keeping a memory journal. With the great cameras on phones now I have a surplus of photos documenting our everyday life that usually don’t make it onto a page because they’re just not quite worthy of that. That’s where the planner comes in. It’s perfect to document those daily tasks we do.
The little section to the side of each spread to document notes, goals, and what I’m thankful for is one of my favorite features of this planner. It’s going to be awesome to look back over all the pages throughout the year.
And just look at all the beautiful coordinating products including puffy stickers, rice paper stickers and I even pulled out some of the Our Family collection.
Thanks for coming along with my new journey into the Memory Planning and I hope you’ll give it a try too.
Hi there Paper House Fans, Christine joining you today! I am smitten with the new Kawaii Planner! It’s happy, whimsical, and full of fun trends! Today I am going to walk you thru my first week spread in it!
Here’s a video walk-thru of how I put together this spread:
The Puffy Clips are one of my favorites! I love how they feel, seriously squeezable!
The Puffy Clips can also fit nicely on the stick on pockets! For me, I was all in, and had to use both of them :)!
The cardstock stickers have stickers that fit perfectly in the planner blocks. I also adore the puffy stickers, I’ve always liked them and am so excited that Paper House has added them to their Planner Collections too!
Thanks for joining me today – be sure to check back in all week long for more new projects with our planners!
It’s July. Can you believe that? J-U-L-Y. This actually makes me happy because FALL is near. Yes, I said it, FALL!
I’ve been planning for Fall since school ended a few weeks ago. Our family is a football family and the season is peeking at me from around the corner. July is already a month filled with planning and prepping for football season. I want to show you my take on planning. It always seems like I am walking chaos, I need a planner. Not only that, I need my planner to motivate me and inspire me not to procrastinate.
Brand Ambassador TinaGale recently gave us a peek into how she incorporates non planner stickers from Paper House Productions into her planner!
She used a wide variety of our stickers – including: Bohemian Friends Clear Stickers, One Big Happy Family Multi-Pack Stickers, Road Trip Snap Shot Stickers. To check out even more detail you will want to watch her video!
Check back in with us tomorrow to see some highlights of fan projects we’ve enjoyed this last month!
Hello friends, Katty here to share another monthly planner spread. I decided to work on my May monthly spread. I use this planner to keep track of all of my Crafty Commitments so I thought I’d get a head start decorating it. I am working in my Everyday Moments Planner. I recently received a ton of awesome planner stickers from Paperhouse and I was dying to use them. I have a video sharing all of the awesome Planner Stickers and Paperhouse goodies I received. If you’d like to watch Click Here. I decided to use one sticker set, the Live Bold Planner Stickers. This set of stickers coordinates with the Live Bold Planner but can be used in any of the planners.
I began by adding a little bit of color to my spread. I picked out some gelatos in coordinating colors and painted in some of the days. I used a tiny bit of water and a small flat brush. Since I only used a tiny amount of water the color did not seep through nor did my pages warp too badly. I also like that the color is translucent, so you can still see the number for the days that I had stamped using some navy ink. This look can be achieved by using any type of watercolors. The key is to use minimal water. If you don’t own watercolors and want to add pops of color, you can also cut down patterned paper to fit the squares.
Once dry, I used pens in coordinating colors and added faux stitching around the boxes and created a second faux stitch square inside of the boxes. I also watered down three of the gelatos and added fun splatters throughout the spread.
Then came the fun part. I used the Love Bold stickers all around the page. I added some beautiful florals on either side of the month and added two additional floral clusters on the bottom of the left side and the top of the right side along with some arrows and fun sentiments.
I added some banners on the right side edge for some additional interest. Then I took some more of the small flowers and little starts and scattered them around. I scattered them in a way that it looks like the flowers are coming out of the bottom right hand side and are exploding up and onto the page on the left.
I love how this turned out. I can’t wait to start filling in all of my crafty commitments.
