Birthday Scrapbook Layout Featuring Faux Enamel Stickers

Daisie Hansen Circle

Hello everyone!  Daisie here with a layout I created featuring the Birthday Faux Enamel Stickers.  These were the perfect stickers to use for a layout about my son’s 15th birthday.  The colors and shine to these stickers are incredible!

I started out with a white cardstock background.  I then chose 2 patterned papers from The Great Outdoors Collection.  The woodgrain matched the color of the brick from the picture perfectly, while the chevron paper brought some pops of color.  I chose to tear the edges for some added texture.

I used a free cut file I found online and created a couple of embellishments and title to compliment the faux enamel stickers.  I cut the files in both white cardstock and the chevron pattern paper to create this offset effect.  Then it was time for the stickers!  I love how the colors go great with the chevron paper.  They are flat stickers with gold foiling.  They have an enamel type finish to them that make them look like they are enamel shapes.  Perfect for adding a special element to your page without adding bulk.

I chose to use the present stickers down in the right bottom corner for an added embellishment cluster.  They look great together!  I finished the page off with a scribbly outline and called it done!

Looney Tunes Scrapbook Layout: That’s All Folks!

Daisie Hansen Circle

Hello Everyone!  Daisie here with a new scrapbook layout and process video.  I chose to use the licensed Looney Tunes puffy stickers.  These stickers are true to the characters and wonderfully puffy, I used the whole sheet!

I started with the photo for this layout.  I was originally planning on using the Justice League Chibi Villans puffy stickers but when I came across this photo I knew it was the one.  I chose the Looney Tunes Puffy stickers to perfectly compliment the photo. Immediately I decided that I wanted to mimic the closing shot of Porky Pig popping out of the curtain.  I was able to accomplish this by cutting some circles out of some red glitter paper from my stash.  I chose an 8.5×11 size layout for this because I didn’t want to embellish with anything other than the fabulous stickers.

IMG_3263

I used some foam alpha from my stash for the title.  I strategically placed the puffy characters around the page.  I wanted to make them look like pairs.  So I have the Coyote chasing the RoadRunner, Marvin the Martian looking for Bugs Bunny, Daffy and the Tasmanian Devil are buds at the top of the photo, and last but not least Tweety and Sylvester are flanking the bottom portion of the title.

IMG_3264

To finish off the layout, I chose some white cardstock and black pattern paper scraps to back my photo.  I used the Looney Tunes title sticker in the center of my title and scattered the puffy stars around to finish it off.  I’m pleased with the fun tone of this layout!  It really captures the feeling in my photo.

Documenting Your Big Fish Tales With The Great Outdoors Collection

Daisie Hansen Circle

Hello Everyone!  Daisie here with a fun layout and process video featuring the Great Outdoors Fishing kit.  This kit comes with 9 double-sided 12×12 pattern papers, a 12×12 sticker sheet, and a sheet of 3D stickers.  I also added in a couple of the Great Outdoors puffy stickers. More than enough to document any big fish tales you may have!

I started with a white cardstock background from my stash.  I added some dark blue mist sprinkled on to set the scene.  I used a stock image of a fish that I found on Google for my template.  I then went to town with the papers in this kit to create my fish.

The Gone Fishin’ 12×12 paper was perfect for my fish.  One side has a beautiful ombre effect that starts darker on the bottom and lighter on top.  I chose to flip the paper the other way for the body of my fish, even though the anchors ended upside down.  The belly of the fish is created with the opposite side. It has a gorgeous misty outdoor scene.  I loved the color of the trees and thought it would make for a great fish belly.  I finished him off with some woodgrain fins from the b-side of the Into The Woods paper.

I matted my photo with a thin mat cut from the Catch Of The Day paper.  It has colorful fishing icons all over it.  While you can’t quite make out what they are from the mat that I used, it helps tie in all of the colors.  I added a lot of the 3D stickers as embellishments around my photo.  My title came from the 12×12 sheet of stickers that come with the kit.  I finished it off by bringing some more of the colors around my page with the Great Outdoors puffy stickers.  This collection is the perfect way to highlight this great catch!

Long-Distance Friendships Documented with Destination Stickers

Daisie Hansen Circle

Hello everyone!! Daisie here with another layout and process video for you.  This layout features the Arizona, Canada, and Discover USA Destination stickers.  These 3D stickers are great representations of each location.  They are perfect for scrapbooking, travelers notebooks, and planners but would also work really well for work or school projects or presentations.

The layout I created showcases the locations of myself and my scrapbooking best friends.  We met online and we are all from different places.  I was able to directly represent their locations with the Destination stickers.  I used some of the Discover USA to represent my location.

The background paper is from the Great Outdoors collection.  It was the perfect neutral for this layout.  I also pulled the Outdoors Flake Stickers in for some additional embellishment.  I did some mixed media in the background with some mists but covered most of it up.  I love the depth it adds to this paper.

product list: Great Outdoors Camping Tags 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Great Outdoors Flake Stickers, Destination Canada 2D Stickers, Destination Arizona 2D Stickers,  Destination Discover USA 2D Stickers

Travel Scrapbook Title Page Featuring Stitching

Travel Scrapbook Title Page Featuring Stitching
I’m so excited to be back with another fun project including some stitching as well as the amazing and fun dimensional Destinations stickers. I really struggle sometimes with creating the perfect title page for a travel album and these stickers really jump-started my creativity.

Travel Scrapbook Title Page Featuring Stitching

For this project, I printed an online image of the outline of the United States and used it as a pattern to create a hand-stitched version of the map on the top portion of my layout. I knew that the smaller detailed stickers in the Travel-Washington D.C. Destinations pack as well as the Travel- Let Freedom Ring Destinations pack would work as great city markers to indicate where our trip started and stopped on the map. It was easy to create a curved flight path with more embroidery floss between the two icons.

Travel Scrapbook Title Page Featuring Stitching

I cut my photo to a 4×4 size and used more of the Destinations stickers from both packs to create some border details around the top and bottom edges. I then added some patterned paper banners and a few arrows as well as the eagle insignia to those banners. A few lines of journaling and a little washi tape border and this title page was complete! I really hope that you will also join me over on my You Tube channel where I talk a little bit more about my product choices and how I created this look.

Camping Scrapbook Layout Featuring Hand Stitching

Camping Scrapbooking Layout Featuring 12x12 Paper Pad Details
I am super excited to be starting my adventure with Paper House Productions today featuring some of my favorite techniques. I was really inspired by the Marbleous and Color Washed 12×12 paper pads and knew that I wanted to use them to create a unique, hand-stitched element on my page. Hand-stitching is one of my absolute favorite design techniques!

Camping Scrapbooking Layout Featuring 12x12 Paper Pad Details

For this project, I printed an online image of a vintage trailer and used it as a pattern to create my own vintage trailer to include on my layout. The Marbleous paper pad was a perfect place to start with building the foundation pieces of my trailer. Then, I grabbed the Color Washed paper pad to include some bold accent details. I created a coordinating title element from the same paper choices and used my tab and label punches to create some embellishment clusters.

I used the washi tape from the Summer Fun Life Organized collection to keep a subtle repeating design element throughout the layout. Adding a few puffy stickers and label stickers completed my look. I am SO excited about how this layout turned out and hope that you feel inspired to look at your paper pads in a new light!

Click Flip Album & Video Tutorial

my-bio-picHello Paper House friends! Katty here, back to share a fun project with you all. Today, I am working with the Click Flip Album. This album is so much fun to work with. There are several different styles of the Flip Album available.  These albums have an easel stand so they can be easily displayed. They are perfect for displaying fun memories or to be given as gifts. I love the Click version that I am working with today. It has a jewel tone color scheme which I think is so fun.

Click Album Supply List:

These Flip Albums bring a clear sticker sheet as well as some gold foil photo corners. They make the perfect embellishments. I decided to use photos from a day trip my boyfriend and I took to the Grand Canyon. We were visiting Las Vegas and decided to take an airplane tour of the Canyon. It was absolutely breathtaking. I printed some of my favorite photos from that day and also pulled out the Southwest Adventure Paper Crafting Kit.

FullSizeRender 12

I kept my cover very simple by mixing a few elements from the Click Sticker sheet and some words that I fussy cut from the Southwest Collection. FullSizeRender 5

This Album has space for a lot of photos. I love how interactive it is. It is just fun to flip through and discover all of the flaps.

I continued throughout the album combining the sticker sheet that came with the album and the Southwest Collection. I even incorporated the Feathers Acetate sheet. I also added in some of the Succulent and Dreamcatcher 2″ Stickers.FullSizeRender 11Although the color schemes from the Click album and the Southwest collection are different I think they came together very nicely. They were perfect for my Grand Canyon theme. FullSizeRender 14

This album was a lot of fun to create. I hope you’ll check out the Flip Albums and try them out.

There is a video tutorial on my channel if you’d like to see my process.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! XOXO -Katty

Adventure Flip Album

Hello crafty friends, My name is TinaGale and I am so excited to  be joining the Paper House Productions Design Team this year! I love to create gifts for ones I love and especially love it when they can come together quickly and easily but look like they took forever! Today I am sharing a little project using the new Adventure Flip Album.

Fun Times Flip Album Supply List:
The album comes complete with silver photo corners and clear stickers to finish your album but I couldn’t resist adding in some of the new 3D stickers for even more wow.
Some of the pages include silver embossed phrases. They’re stunning and really give a finished look to the album.

Of course if the phrases aren’t relevant or you want to add more photos you can add them right over the top like I did for this pocket page. For the insert I created a little tab to grab a hold of it and pull out. I added one of the clear stickers on to it to finish it off.

I loved all the clear word stickers and they were perfect to add right on top of the photos.

For the last couple of pages I printed some smaller photos to cluster around. This phrase from the Discover USA acetate sheet was perfect! I just cut it apart and adhered around my photos. I die cut a heart doily to cover up some of the background page since it was a world map. It was perfect to still give the feel of the map without it seeming awkward since we weren’t traveling around the world.

This album is perfect for gift giving just by itself or complete with photos and ready for someone to enjoy. I hope you enjoyed my project for you this month and will check out the varity of flip albums in the Paper House store.

Have a great day!
TinaGale
