Hello! Samantha here with you. There are so many great project ideas on the Paper House Pinterest page, that it makes it the perfect place to go when you need a little creative inspiration. Today I’ve got a Pinterest inspired 2 page layout to share with you.
I took the split page set up and 2 photo placement from Carolyn’s layout.
I also copied her use of stick-on pockets as a design element.
I took inspiration from Julie’s use of a big circle on her layout and her use of 3 vertical photos.
I also drew inspiration from her cluster of embellishments underneath the center photo.
I love drawing inspiration from other people! There are so many wonderful, talented paper crafters out there. So next time you get stuck or need a little crafty inspiration, check out Paper House’s Pinterest page…you might just find an idea for your next project!Save
Are you getting excited for Christmas?! I sure am! It’s Carolyn back today with a scrapbook layout using the Christmas Joy collection. There are so many fun stickers and pretty papers, this layout was easy to make.
I began with these two pictures of super excited children eagerly awaiting their gifts. I really love the Christmas Memories paper so I used it as my background. I cut out the wreath with my Silhouette Cameo using the Peace Joy Love paper. Next I layered the stripe paper behind my photos. On the other side of the photos, I used the poinsettia stick on pockets. The holly leaf stick on pocket is perfect for holding one of my pictures.
Can you find the flake stickers on my layout? They blend in so perfectly, it is hard to tell they are not part of the pictures. The star on the tree, the Santa hat, the holly leaves and four of the presents are flake stickers.
To finish the layout I used a 3D title and pulled the puffy clip present off the clip to add dimension. There are also cardstock stickers for some sentiments, the date and star embellishments.
Make sure to stop by the Paper House Shop to pick-up some Christmas goodies! Have a wonderful, scrappy holiday season!
Have you jumped into the Traveler’s Notebook craze? I am going to show you today how I use it in a very traditional way – for documenting our travels. Christine joining you today with a Traveler’s Notebook using Destinations Stickers.
Our family is about to set off on a road trip therefore in preparation for that I put together four spreads, one for each state along the way. The new Destinations stickers combined beautifully with the Autumn Woods Collection and the Great Outdoors Collection to make this a fun project to put together.
The new Destinations stickers have both flat and 2D Stickers and even some foiling. I made good use of them on each spread. I like to cover one side of each spread with patterned paper and the Autumn Woods collection has the beautiful rich colors I needed.
For my last two spreads I switched to patterned papers from the new Great Outdoors collection. While it’s outdoors themed, it still lends itself to autumn pictures (and some winter too). I’m looking forward to playing more with this rich collection.
I love the practical uses for the Stick On Pockets and how you can use them on so many projects. I used one here to tuck my journaling into. Wanna check out more on how I put these together? Here’s a process video that shares more details
Now that I have these put together, I’m really itching to get on the road…but first to pack!
Hello! Samantha here with you. I have a project today that’s not only great for fall but also a wonderful way to put a positive emphasis on interactions between family members. This DIY Thankful Note Board is a really fun way to get everyone involved in small acts of gratitude.
We’re using this note board this fall to leave each other notes of gratitude. There are no rules to how to use the note board. The idea is just to write down something you’re grateful for about another family member or a note of thanks if they did something kind for you. It’s a fun way to call out acts of everyday kindness!
I had a small frame with a recessed area of about 4″ x 4″. I painted the frame with brown paint, and then went to town decorating it with embellishments from the Autumn Woods collection (and a few other collections, as well). I thought the feathers from the Feather Project Pad coordinated beautifully with Autumn Woods, so I added a few of those. To give them a bit of a 3D effect, I took a bone folder and scored the feathers down the middle. Folding them a little along the score line gives the feathers some extra dimension, perfect for an off the page project.
Since I was using feathers on this project, it seemed like the perfect choice to use this sweet little owl for our note board clip. The metal is nice and sturdy, so we’ll be able to use it over and over again without the metal getting fatigued.
I finished up by using washi tape to add some borders (and a pop of color) to the frame.
I can’t wait to start using our thankful note board to add some extra gratitude to our days. Save
Hello crafty friends! Melinda here with you today sharing my September Planner Spread for the month view planner page! Here’s a look at my completed spread. It is just bursting with such color and all the yummy stickers and embellishments!
Hi everybody! Shannon joining you today and I’ll warn you in advance, this post is picture heavy! I am going to admit something to you, I was intimidated by planners. It was not something I wanted to embrace, I didn’t think I would be able to fill up pages with details of my life, my family, our day to day. On the contrary, I have been busy making plans with my Kawaii Planner.
I honestly didn’t think my days added up to that much. I am a housewife, I don’t have a job that I leave the house everyday, I felt kind of silly writing down…laundry. As I began recording things I needed to do, had to plan for and appointments..I saw that my days were actually filled, they were important, they did matter to the people I am surrounded by. There was no reason for me to feel like my days didn’t matter because they weren’t filled with important meetings and deadlines. My meetings, emails, deadlines are important too. Everyone has a role in this fabric of life. The point here is use your planner, enjoy filling your planner, realize that comparison is the thief of joy and know your days matter whether you’re a mom or a businesswoman, or both!
I’m sharing the last few weeks of my life with you and the month of September, as I am still filling the days. Paddy and the boys are in full football mode and right now, it is all we know, and that’s ok. I’m the Meal Mom, and I am so happy to take care of the boys each week and the planner helps me keep everyday moments recorded and organized.
Paper House Productions planners and accessories…what can I say about them? The real question is…what can’t I say about them?!?!? They are simply amazing. They are easy to use, they coordinate with other lines and meld perfectly together. You can layer them or you can let them stand alone.
The Kawaii planner has so many fun colors and coordinating accents, consequently you can’t help but smile!
The planner offers plenty of space for you to write down all of the important to do’s, dates, appointments, random thoughts…there are so many possibilities.
The Stick-On Pockets are a fun addition to any spread.Adding details to the planner are almost effortless.
Guess what?!?! I’m jumping right into September so stay tuned for that! Thank you for letting me share with you!
Hello Hello!..and happy fall y’all! I have a fall Traveler’s Notebook spread with the Autumn Woods collection. It is my favorite season…those deep, rich colors are just gorgeous..I take lots of fall photos and a Traveler’s Notebook is the perfect showcase spot!
I just had to use as many of these adorable fall critters as I could! And the rice paper borders have this amazing copper foil details…pefect for fall!
I wanted to feature this deep burgundy color in my spread and I also wanted to use these copper-flecked epoxy stickers..perfect on a white background!
I hope you have enjoyed this project today! Id love to hear your thoughts on Travelers Notebook? Love them? Tried them? They are a fun little project for me when I want to create just to play with fun products!
Carolyn back again to show you how I used the Life Organized Planner Products on a scrapbooking layout. Our family visited Wisconsin Dells last year and these pictures show a stop along the boat tour. The Great Outdoors products were perfect to highlight the ruggedness of my pictures and the Lake Life collection provided papers that worked well as my base.
I used washi tape to separate the top and bottom half of the layout. The trees in this photo are flake stickers and epoxy stickers.
Here is a close-up of the puffy clip tree. I attached it to a stick-on pocket. The leaves are flake stickers and the remaining stickers are a mix of epoxy and puffy. I cut the title from paper in the Lake Life collection using my Silhouette Cameo.
Here is one last close-up of the other stick-on pocket and puffy clip. The multicolored arrows are rice paper stickers that helped me to cover a sentiment that didn’t go with my theme.
Thanks for stopping by! I just love how well these two collections work together and hope you will give it a try!
Hi there Paper House Fans! Christine joining you today with a layout that highlights just how easily you incorporate all those new planner products into your scrapbook layouts as well! Here’s the layout I created!
Hello friends! Katty here to share a fun planner spread. I am planning out the month of August in my amazing Kawaii Planner. This planner is beyond adorable. The colors are gorgeous and the design is fantastic and functional.
I used a mix of the Kawaii Planner Accessories and the Summer Fun Planner Accessories. I love the mix of the two collections. They work very well together. The Epoxy clips and Puffy clips are my absolute favorite!
Since this month it’s Back to School for my boys I also used the Back to School Sticky Pix stickers and Chipboard Stickers.
I love how this spread turned out. Lots of fun colors and adorable stickers.
