Hey Everyone! Renee back again with a great page using the new Paradise Found Collection! There’s a few variations of this collection and I kind of meshed them all up to develop this page! You’d think in the middle of Iowa, I wouldn’t have any use for these collections really. I’m landlocked and with no plans for a great paradise vacation but I thought of something fun which I hope you enjoy!
I recently tried a new Pineapple Shandy beer from Traveler called “Aloha” and it’s so delightfully tasty! Reminds me of summer in a bottle! I took a picture of this treat and it occurred to me that I could totally use the new Paradise Found collection to capture this moment.
I fussy cut the cute flowers out of one of the papers to create some festive embellishments. I also enjoyed having so many stickers to use with this collection. The kit comes with 12×12 of stickers as well as a set of puffy stickers. I had to throw as many fun ones on as I could. I also used the cut aparts to place my title as well as layering.
I loved being able to make a summer/paradise page out of something simple like my beer that I enjoy and makes me feel all about summer! Sometimes you have to look outside the box instead of just what pictures you’d assume go with the collection catergory at hand! I hope you enjoyed the page!! Hour Nine: Happy National Scrapbook Day! This is the very last post for today! Today we are celebrating all things Scrapbooking related! Each hour we will be sharing a new post with some inspiration combining Paper House products and our designer’s favorite techniques!
Of course we can’t have a celebration without a giveaway or two! Stay tuned at the end of the post to find out what we’re giving away! Now let’s hear from Renee!
Hi Everyone!! Renee here, I am so excited about National Scrapbooking Day!I wanted to show you guys one of , well- two of- my favorite techniques which of course- are layering and clustering embellishments. I’m not even sure what I love about it, maybe it’s that I can use so much of my stuff and don’t have to pick when making a page! Or also the fact I can be creative and make anything in to an embellishment. I am the last one who gets to share a little about my crafty habits today – here you go!
What’s your favorite type of paper crafting? My favorite type of paper crafting is simply doing 12×12 pages. I just love all the space and different ways I can take it with creativity! Where do you go for inspiration? I usually go to Instagram for inspiration. There’s so many creative people out there and I love being inspired by their work in a million different ways. I also am often inspired by a collection in general- reminds me of pictures I haven’t thought of in a while. Where do you do your crafting? I craft often just in bed. I bring my rolly carts on over, turn on the T.V. and get comfy with my blankets; then go to town. What are your favorite crafting tools? My favorite crafting tools are probably Scrapbook Adhesive, various products as well as my Silhouette Cameo. What are your favorite Paper House products? I love the Paper House Collection Cut Apart Sheets- I use them as embellishments or in my pocket scrapbooking page. There’s so many ways to utilize them! What are your favorite colors to work with? I am drawn to anything bright and colorful! Makes me happy! How would you describe your crafting style? A hot mess. That’s how I would describe it, I seem to just like to use as much as I can while still trying to feature the picture/item on the page. Do you like it quiet while you work or do you have music or tv on? I am always watching TV even though, I have to rewind it often to actually pay attention. It’s how I get through my DVR list and get my work done at the same time. What’s your go to snack/drink while you craft? I don’t think I have a particular go-to; give me all the foods.
For this layout I used the Paper House line, One Big Happy Family to document this early picture of my sister’s family. I love this picture so much and the fact it was already in sepia tones- made it easy to work with this line. I layered behind the photo with different cut aparts along with forming clusters with stickers and fussy cutting of some of the papers. On the bottom of the page, I cut the border from the cut apart sheet along with a little of another page layered them together to place behind a paper I fussy ripped on the top. I couldn’t stop with my little clusters so I added some on both sides of the bottom segment of the page. I just can’t get enough!! I love utilizing as much as I can of my supplies and this is the best way I know how!

Welcome to Day Two of the our Travel Blog Hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®! We are so excited to be teaming up with this great adhesive company to showcase both our travel products and their line of adhesives. Let’s get on to the beautiful projects from our team!
Hello everyone! One of my favorite things, besides Scrapbooking of course, is Travel. Today I am documenting a funny road trip moment for our family. I combined the awesome Discover USA Papercrafting Kit and the Discover USA 3D Stickers with some of the amazing Scrapbook Adhesives products to create this fun layout. In scrapbooking, it is important to use a good quality adhesive, otherwise when you look back through your layouts in the future all of your embellishments will be gathered at the bottom of your page. I used the EZ Runner Permanent Strips adhesive behind my photo and I used the 3D Foam Squares to add some dimension to my photo and a few of the stickers. I also used the super fun 3D Foam Hearts and added some glitter to them in coordinating colors. The foam hearts added some extra fun details to my layout. I love how it turned out.
If you’d like to read more about my process creating this layout check out my blog post here or my process video here.
Renee TimmermanHi! I know I’ve made a few projects already with the Discover USA line but like I said- it’s a line that just keeps giving! I used the East Coast paper filled with water life, crabs and beach (stickers) to do a page about my Brother In Law and his rowing team! It looks like a pocket page but it’s a normal 12×12- I thought it would be a unique look to try without the pockets being the line is filled with great cut aparts to use. I was excited to try the Scrapbook Adhesive products; I used 3-D Foam Squares and their EZ Refillable Runner for this page. Their adhesive is definitely strong which I love but my klutzy side had to learn to be careful. I also loved how it made my embellishments pop without having to use very many squares! If you want to check out more about my page, check out my personal blog post!
All week long you can find prizes here on our Blog, on our Facebook Page, and on Instagram! Here’s the details on all our giveaways!
We’re giving away two collections here on the blog, two on Facebook, and two on Instagram. Just leave a comment on ANY of the posts from this week!
Now Hop on over to Day Two at Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®!
Hey Everyone! Renee here again with another post on the new planners by Paper House Productions!
I was excited because I recently received the new planner stickers to use with my new planner! I kind of usually go hog wild with my decorating in the planner but I was trying to tame it down so I could actually use the planner to write in as well.
I used some of the stickers from Paper Houses’ Clear Cuts that I thought went well with the two Life Organized sets that matched my planner. I love spreading little sentiments to remind myself to be amazing even when I get grouchy at the week.
I took one of the blank square elements to add my own quote for the end of the week. Added a list in the notes section of things I needed to complete during the weekend. But I also included a list in the middle of the week to complete during the week with a listing sticker to check off.
Of course I had to throw some random elements as well such as flowers and arrows. Wouldn’t be my planner if I didn’t embellish like as crazy as I can. Here are some close ups of my planner!!
Renee here with a post today on the new Flip Albums! I think they are so awesome, they are little albums that you can flip through with different pictures on either pull out pages or folded pages. I’m going to show you how I utilized the Family flip album!
I think what’s perfect about this album is that it’s already constructed for you; you just need to add the photos then embellish how you see fit! It comes with a sheet of stickers that coordinate with the album and I thought there was plenty of them to use! Also it comes with corner stickers to place on your photos to make them look like they’re slid in to place.
This album I am making as a present to my sister’s family. ( She’ll probably see it here, hope you like it! Haha! ) I thought it would also work great with this set of 4 photos I found of their family. I manipulated the photos to be 4in. x 4in. sized which fits perfectly on the squares in the flip album with a little space around the edge of them!
Besides the stickers that are included in the box with the album, I used a few of the stickers from the Life’s Organized Planner sticker pack that coordinated with it! I got some small alphas I had in my stash to use on the photos as well to add more sentiments.
I hope you enjoy this project, I think these albums are just perfect for a small remembrance of an event or a present to someone! I can’t wait to see how others use their albums!! If you want to learn more about this project or see more of my work, check out my personal blog. Have a wonderful day!!
Hi! Renee here to show you how I utilized the new Paper House Productions Planner: Everyday Moments. I think like everyone is jumping on the new planner craze and I’m so excited about it! Maybe because I’m obsessed with everything planner related. I admit though- sometimes I’m horrible at actually USING it. So I’m giving a new try with this planner!
I decided to start with the month of April! What’s great about these planners are they have no start month, so you can literally decide where you want to begin. Each planner come with 3 sticker sheets that are already attached inside the beginning of your planner that coordinate with the planner. The first sheet comes with month labels you can use for the designated month. So I peeled the month of April off which goes perfectly with the colors already on the monthly spread.
For special days, I wanted to include a picture of them instead of words just to add a different touch to the planner. So I printed off a picture of my niece who’s birthday is on the 9th and my cat ( yes, don’t judge me) on the 19th. The 2×2 size fits almost perfectly in to the spots. The other sticker sheets included also have little stickers for birthdays, doctor appointments and other events so I included the little birthday cake on each of their pictures.
I kind of skipped the first week spread because it’s honestly- well not exciting. So I decorated the next one because it included Addison’s birthday! Again, the pages are blank so you’re able to label however you want- which is great! I decided this week just to use my own penmanship/calligraphy skills to make giant numbers for the dates. Addison’s birthday I included some fun stickers- also on the sticker sheets from the planner. I loved the aqua color so all the aqua stickers just spilled on to the date.
Each date I also just placed a line to separate the boxes so I could keep my work out written down. I always like looking back and seeing how I progressed with my work outs as well as keep tabs on how many miles I’ve ran.
I hope you enjoyed my look at the planner! I’m excited to keep documenting during the month’s and showing you how I utilize this planner! I also can’t wait to see how you use your planner!! As always, if you want to learn more about Renee, check out my personal blog for more posts of my work!
Hi Everyone! Renee here with another page using the Discover USA collection. I honestly can’t get enough of it. And what’s great, I still have plenty left to make another page! Or 5. This time I took the outdoor twist on the collection.
For this page, I -again- used stuff I had previously had that were Paper House Products along with the Discover USA collection.
This was a second idea I had set up and ready to go when I couldn’t decide what page to make. I’m so excited about how it turned out! I always love when I’m able to use a lot of my stash or a collection. That means I can get more right??
I absolutely love spending time in the outdoors, especially out on the water. There’s just something soothing about it. I thought the embellishments captured all the exciting things I love about time at the lake. They just look so realistic and perfect colors! I made a cluster around the photos on the top right and around the journaling on the bottom left. I couldn’t pick which ones to use, I did kind of embellish spill all over the page but it turned out pretty well!!
I hope I inspired you to pick up our Discover USA line as well as tons of different supplies that go so well with the collection. I love when you can mix and match stuff together, makes utilizing my supplies so much easier!! Also, I can’t wait to show what I have up my sleeve for my next entry!! If you want to check out what I have to say about this page or any other of my work- be sure to go to my personal blog!!
Hi! Renee here again , with my second post for Paper House Productions! This time I’m working with the new Discover USA collection! This line literally has pages for all area of the USA- cut apart pages for the South, the Coasts, and even the Midwest! But for my page, I wanted to focus on the Road Trip cut apart page.
For this page, I used more of the embellishments I had already hoarded that worked well with the Discover USA/Road trip collection.
I cut the United States shape out of one of the mixed cards backing it with paper, adding sequins to it and topping it with one of the acetate mixed cards. I added the cute little car on top as well. I thought it turned out pretty cute. But I’m bias.
I layered behind the pictures as I always do with pieces of the cut apart paper. I also put one of the cards in the middle. I created a bigger cluster at the top of the right photo and the bottom of the left photo but added little pieces on the opposite. I also did clusters at the top and the bottom of the page overall. Journaling was part of the bottom cluster so I could somewhat remember what this page was about. For the background of the paper, I cut the sheet in half flipped the top over -piecing them together on another sheet plain paper.
I loved how this page turned out, also excited that I finally got to use some of the Paper House Products I had already with this perfect collection. I can’t wait also to use other pieces of this collection for other pages. I had 3 different page ideas laying in front of me and couldn’t decide where to go. So look forward to seeing more of these coming your way!
As always, if you want to learn more about this page or the other work I do, check out my personal blog!
