Fall Themed Bookmarks

Hello crafty friends! It’s Carolyn here today with some fall themed bookmarks. I made two as thank-you gifts for a teacher and another to celebrate fall. If you have bits and pieces of a collection, this is a great way to use them up and add a handmade touch to a gift. Not to mention who can’t use another bookmark?!?

Supplies for Bookmarks: Teacher Puffy Sticker, School Planner Stickers, School Mixed Sticker Pack, Autumn Woods Epoxy Sticker, Pumpkin Spice 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Autumn Woods 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Woodland Friends Tags 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Autumn Woods Cardstock StickersColor Washed 12″ Paper Pad, Great Outdoors Tags 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Beneath The Stars 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper

For the fall bookmark I layered two papers from the Autumn Woods collection. I cut out the sentiment from another paper and decorated with cardstock and epoxy stickers. I used a hole punch and added some matching twine.

For this teacher bookmark, I used the new Great Outdoors papers for the background. Then I mixed a bunch of school themed stickers. I love how the planner stickers, puffy stickers and mixed stickers all look together.

For the final bookmark, I used a paper from the Color Washed Paper Pad. Then I cut the packaging paper off the mixed stickers for the lined paper. I topped it off with a mixture of stickers.

That’s it for me! I hope you have a moment to check out all the fun stickers and papers in the shop and don’t forget to put those leftover supplies to use!

Project Pad Camping Decor

Hello! Samantha with you today to share a little inspiration using one of Paper House’s Punch Out Project Pads. These fun pads a full of hearts, feathers, butterflies, or frames in a variety of patterns and sizes that you just punch out and use. So simple and fun! My piece today is a little Project Pad camping decor.

Supplies: DIY Punch Out Frames Project Pad, Relax Sculpted Sticker

My favorite thing about these little punch out frames is how easy it is to create seasonal decor with them. They go together really quickly and are super easy to group together since the colors and patterns coordinate with each other.

There are 2 types of frames in the Project Pad; raised frames and recessed frames. I used a flat die cut of a camper (we love camping with our camper during the summer!) in the recessed frame and some sculpted stickers on the raised frame. The raised texture of the sculpted stickers allowed me to keep my frames clean and simple, but still add a lot of interest by adding texture to the frames.

The frames in the project pad are a great size for grouping together as part of a design element in your home decor. They’re light weight enough that they can stand on their own, or be attached to the wall with a temporary scrapbook adhesive or poster adhesive. So many fun possibilities!

The fun doesn’t stop with the Frames Project Pad. There are 3 more Punch Out Project Pads, and they are all so much fun! In fact, I couldn’t decide on just one project to make for today, so I have a bonus Project Pad project over on my blog today. Head on over there to see how I used the Hearts Project Pad to create this layout.

Wine Tasting

For the next two weeks we will be featuring Designer’s Favorites – We asked each design team member to showcase their favorite Paper House Productions products in a project. Lisa’s showcasing a new favorite – the Shaker Card Embellishments!

Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Do you ever get some scrapping goodies that you just can’t wait to use? Well, when I received my new box release box, I was giddy with excitement over the new Shaker Card embellishments! I fell in love!

Lisa here today to share a layout I created using a few of my favorite Paper House products. Back in 2010 my hubby and I packed up the kids and took a trip out to California. One of our day trips was a trip to Napa Valley. Until now, I hadn’t scrapped these photos. The new SnapShots Wine Country were perfect to scrap them!

Wine Tasting Layout Supplies:

I decided to use a grid on my layout so that I could include all of my favorite new goodies. I added a bit of red watercolor to mimic red wine to my background. I added  a few strips of green and red patterned papers from a few different paper pads on top and bottom of my page and stitched in place.

I glued the grape Shaker Card right on my background paper and added the “Veni Vidi Vino I came. I saw I wined.” to the right of the shaker card. I added the “Sweet” Sculpted Sticker to the top of the card.

These are 2 of the 3 photos I added to my layout. On the first one, I adhered it right on the background paper and added the “Wine tasting” SnapShot Sticker and then added the “Love” Sculpted Sticker above it. On the second photo, which I popped up with foam tape,  I added the “Cheers” SnapShot Sticker to the upper left corner.

For this part of my grid, I used the green frame and placed the wine glass/bottle overlay on top of it. These are both in the Wine Country Mixed Card Pack. This pack has so many frames and overlays to choose from! I added the “Savor” Sculpted Sticker and also the “Wine Country” SnapShot Sticker. I tucked in a bit of wine colored tangled thread under the 2nd photo.

Here is a closer look at the “Vino” Card. I also added another of the SnapShot Stickers to the lower right side along with some more tangled thread. I finished the layout off with some black mist spatters.

Hello there scrappy friends!  How often do you scrap a layout about yourself?  Years ago, I didn’t scrap any photos of me, but that has been one of my resolutions for the last few years. Besides, selfies are popular now, so snap away 🙂  Today I am sharing a layout I created using the gorgeous Flamingo ColorWays collection and yes, a selfie of me!

I used my Cameo to cut the cut file and then backed the squares with different Flamingo ColorWays patterned papers. I love the outcome!

Wedding Layout

Weddings are beautiful, formal events and sometimes they get a little silly.  2015 Design Team Member Giorgia is showing us the silly side of her wedding with a lighthearted wedding layout today!  Giorgia also takes us on a tour of a wide variety of our products and how you can incorporate several different pieces to projects to add texture and dimension!

Wedding Layout Supply List:

The Wedding Day cardstock stickers are perfect accents for layouts about weddings and love.  It includes a variety of shapes, icons, and phrases to add just the right touch to your layout.

Did you know there are sculpted puffy stickers available in a variety of words and fonts?  Giorgia used the love set but we have a good variety of them available!

The Cork’d Stickers also make a nice accent and add a different texture to projects.  Giorgia used a couple different sets to anchor her pictures and journaling.

We can’t forget rub-ons!  Giorgia used a Be Silly one to highlight her silly picture as well as to be a title for her layout.

Have  you created a silly or lighthearted layout lately? We’d love to see it! Share it with us on Facebook or Instagram!
