Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards

photo-of-carolyn

Carolyn back today with two baby cards. I’m so lucky to have a new boy and girl join the extended family last month. Of course I needed to make cards with the Hello Baby collections. The cards are 6″ x 6″ which I found easy to work with since I almost always make 12″ x 12″ layouts.

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards Supply List

Kohlt Card 1

For the boy card, I cut out a rattle handle using my Silhouette Cameo. I made a circle in the grid paper and put a cut apart card behind it. I spelled the baby’s name with the cardstock stickers. Then I fused a plastic pouch of sequins and slid it behind the open circle. Some flags and  embroidery thread finished it off.

Kohlt Card 2

Here is the inside of the card. I like opening a card and seeing something beyond the writing so I cut several circles from the paper in the kit and added a sticker.

Liv Card 1

Here is the girl card. I used my Silhouette to cut the star out of the stripped paper and slid a plastic shaker of star sequins behind it. I wanted it to pop off the page more so I outlined it in black. I cut the words out of a cut apart card in the kit and used puffy and cardstock stickers to embellish.

I continued the sentiment from the front of the card on the inside. And I made use of that star I cut out! A few more stickers and it is done.

Thanks for checking out this post and have a great day!

Wine Tasting

For the next two weeks we will be featuring Designer’s Favorites – We asked each design team member to showcase their favorite Paper House Productions products in a project. Lisa’s showcasing a new favorite – the Shaker Card Embellishments!

Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Do you ever get some scrapping goodies that you just can’t wait to use? Well, when I received my new box release box, I was giddy with excitement over the new Shaker Card embellishments! I fell in love!

Lisa here today to share a layout I created using a few of my favorite Paper House products. Back in 2010 my hubby and I packed up the kids and took a trip out to California. One of our day trips was a trip to Napa Valley. Until now, I hadn’t scrapped these photos. The new SnapShots Wine Country were perfect to scrap them!

Wine

Wine Tasting Layout Supplies:

I decided to use a grid on my layout so that I could include all of my favorite new goodies. I added a bit of red watercolor to mimic red wine to my background. I added  a few strips of green and red patterned papers from a few different paper pads on top and bottom of my page and stitched in place.

I glued the grape Shaker Card right on my background paper and added the “Veni Vidi Vino I came. I saw I wined.” to the right of the shaker card. I added the “Sweet” Sculpted Sticker to the top of the card.

These are 2 of the 3 photos I added to my layout. On the first one, I adhered it right on the background paper and added the “Wine tasting” SnapShot Sticker and then added the “Love” Sculpted Sticker above it. On the second photo, which I popped up with foam tape,  I added the “Cheers” SnapShot Sticker to the upper left corner.

For this part of my grid, I used the green frame and placed the wine glass/bottle overlay on top of it. These are both in the Wine Country Mixed Card Pack. This pack has so many frames and overlays to choose from! I added the “Savor” Sculpted Sticker and also the “Wine Country” SnapShot Sticker. I tucked in a bit of wine colored tangled thread under the 2nd photo.

Here is a closer look at the “Vino” Card. I also added another of the SnapShot Stickers to the lower right side along with some more tangled thread. I finished the layout off with some black mist spatters.

Lake Wazee

Hey there Paper House fans!  Lisa back with you again today to share a summer layout using some of the new Paper House goodies!

Lake Wazee

Lake Wazee Supplies:

I started this layout with white cardstock and added some watercolors to it using the packaging technique and some spatters. Then I fussy cut the island, waves and water from the Beaches of the World Paper Pad placed at the bottom of my page and added some stitching.

I took the gorgeous “At The Beach” Shaker Box  and backed that with a sand patterned paper from the paper pad. I used the teal & silver frame and the “Sun & Sand” overlay from the Beach Mixed Card Pack and layered that together, finally adding my photo. I added the layered relax sticker and a few stickers from the Beach Snapshot Sticker Pack

Scrapbooking your trip to the Beach

Paper House has the best products for telling the story about your trips to the beach! I have done multiple layouts over the years using their products and have loved both making them and the end result.  Today I have a new one to share with you highlighting the new Snapshots pieces and Puffy Stickers but I am also going to share with you some older ones too! Let’s kick it off with my newest one!

Beach

Supplies Used:

Beach CU

The new shakers are so much fun!  They are great for layouts, cards, or even stand alone 4 X 4 albums! The Mixed Card Packs include transparencies which is what I used for the “Sun & Sand” on the layout.

Beach CU2

I also used the Mixed Card Packs to frame my little guy in this picture.  I love the mint green color added into the mix!  I used a variety of Puffy stickers on this including the “Smile” quote you see here and the silver puffy accents throughout the layout.

Now here’s a few more beach layouts to help get those creative juices flowing for scrapping those summer moments!

PHP Beach Layout

This was the first beach layout I ever did with Paper House – features lots of their earlier papers and 3D stickers which you can still find at their store!

Paper House End of Summer Hop

Fun with my Silhouette Cameo and Paper House products!

Cork'd Project Christine Meyer

Cork matches really well with sand so our Cork’d Stickers are perfect for helping document those beach memories!

PHP Beach Collection Blog Hop

This one features the same At the Beach Paper Crafting Kit that I used today!
