Thankful Mini Album

Hello everyone! TinaGale here. I was so excited to play with some of Tombows markers. I decided right away that I wanted to do some stamping and coloring with them. I grabbed my Autumn Woods collection and decided to go with a gratitude mini album. I cut cardstock down to create the base then covered with some of the wood grain patterned paper. I don’t know about you but when I started scrapbooking tombow was the first glue I ever used and it’s never disappointed. The liquid mono was perfect to create this mini album with because it’s fast drying and so strong.

Supplies used: Autumn Woods paper, epoxy stickers, puffy stickers, sticker flakes, Life Documented stickers, pockets, washi, clips, rice paper, Tombow twin tone markers, Mono Adhesive, Tape Runner

I stamped the phrase then used the twin tone bright dual tip markers to color them in. I used green at the top and red at the bottom and blended together in the middle. It created a beautiful fall color that reminded me of fall leaves. The pumpkin border paper was perfect to finish the cover off. I stamped some leaves then colored them in to decorate the front and throughout the album.

For the inside I used the stick on pockets to tuck little tags into. I cut tags out of two different papers then decorated them and now they’re ready to add grateful sayings and  some photos to.

Once I had everything together I had fun going back and adding little bits of embellishments to each of the tags and pockets. There’s so many gorgeous bits and pieces in the Autumn Woods collection it was hard to stop adding them in.

I hope you enjoyed my little album today and will try your hand at making one.

The Great Outdoors layout

Hello everyone! TinaGale here with a layout using the Great Outdoors collection. If you went on adventure this summer including camping, fishing, or maybe your guy is hunting then you need to check out the new Great Outdoors to get those memories scrapped.

PH Outdoor Adventures layout

Supplies used:  Great Outdoors papers, sticker sheet, 3D stickers

I decided to scrap some photos of my hubby and daughter out playing on some mounds of gravel. The great thing about construction is all the mounds of dirt and gravel that they can play in. I thought the grey polka dot was the perfect background and reminded me of the gravel. Since the photos were not very colorful I used the orange plaid to make them pop off the page. The layered stickers are awesome and made the perfect title.

You can watch the full process here:

I hope you enjoyed this layout and will be inspired to scrapbook some of your outdoor adventures.

Make EveryDay Great Memory Planning

Hello everyone! TinaGale here and I’m so excited to be sharing the new Make Every Day Great planner with you today.

When I received it I knew immediately I wanted to try my hand at keeping a memory journal. With the great cameras on phones now I have a surplus of photos documenting our everyday life that usually don’t make it onto a page because they’re just not quite worthy of that. That’s where the planner comes in. It’s perfect to document those daily tasks we do.

If you would like an up close look at all the features of the planner and coordinating embellishments check out my Paper House Planner Unboxing video.

Here’s a look at the full process and some of my thoughts on how I’ll be working in this planner to document our days with photos and sometimes maybe just words.

The little section to the side of each spread to document notes, goals, and what I’m thankful for is one of my favorite features of this planner. It’s going to be awesome to look back over all the pages throughout the year.

One Big Scrappy Family Layout

TinaGale Husong
Hello again! TinaGale here and today I’m sharing a layout I created with the fabulous One Big Happy Family collection. I love all of the colors in this collection and there’s so many different ways you can take it. I chose to document a weekend away with my scrappy family.

Supply List: One Big Happy Family CollectionOne Big Happy Family AcetateSticky Pix Cardstock Multi Pack stickers

Here’s a look at my process

Each collection has lots of extra goodies to coordinate and I couldn’t wait to use some of them. The printed acetate is one of my favorites. I used it as a large mat behind my photos to try and really show it off while keeping my photos the center of interest.

Don’t overlook the paper itself for creating your own embellishments. Originally I thought I was going to use the frame paper as my background but I fell in love with the chevron. So what’s a girl to do? Why cut up all the frames and words from the paper and adhere them to my chevron background.

I pop dotted some of the frames to create more dimension to the layout. From the sticker pack I found little bits and pieces to fill inside some of the frames. Since this was documenting a fun weekend creating with friends I wanted to create lots of little masterpieces all over my background.

I hope you enjoyed a look at my process and a look at the One Big Happy Family collection for something other than your traditional family.
